7/05 - 150.6 - A non-tracking day yesterday so not surprised on the uptick. I guess I forgot to weigh yesterday? We were nearly late to the parade and then hung out in town with friends. Our other good friends came in around dinnertime from out of town to visit for the weekend. I absolutely adore them. Ended up leaving before the fireworks since we had to work today - I also wanted to get up for the gym (I succeeded! I went despite the slightly later night). Not sure what the plan is today other than I already ate breakfast and have lunch planned. Dinner will be spur of the moment since we may go into town to see our out of town friends. Or maybe not. Completely unsure at the moment. I tried to leave a nice balance of macros leftover for whatever happens.

07/05 -DNW- (Trend weight DNW) Today is my no-weigh Friday due to my schedule. How convenient that it happened to come the day after a Food Holiday! I actually kept the calories pretty reasonable but I know the carbs were through the roof. I also know that I should have just kept off the buns like @quiltingjaine, but I didn’t. The higher carbs are never a good thing for me, especially with T2D. It just re-routes all my food to fat storage efficiently and automatically. Hopefully tomorrow’s scale reading won’t be too bad after yesterday’s Epic Fail since I did get all my weeds pulled in the morning and some other outside work done for some extra movement. However, a day of carb recuperation in-between is very welcomed (and probably needed) I am sure. Have a great weekend everyone.

@CamandJarvis Thanks so much for the women's hormone panel suggestion. I don't have that lab near me (or any lab for that matter) although I could probably find some type of lab in a larger city with some research. I think I'll start with my doctor and see if he would be willing to do some testing on my next appointment. If not, I think it would be worth researching and getting it done for numerous reasons in my case. The link shows the exact testing that is done and that will be very very helpful. Thanks again for sharing this vital information!

. Mini goal to be under 220 by my vacation in mid-September. I appreciate the accountability of this group! This will be my second round.

7/5 228.3 - Up from yesterday but that was to be expected. I didn't track nor even exercise but it was such a fun day, it was worth it. We hosted a BBQ and had several friends over. I love to cook -especially if I can make things with veggies straight from our garden! I made a kale & quinoa salad, a pasta salad (with slow-roasted tomatoes & garlic, feta, olives, basil and pine nuts), and a warm German-style potato salad (not mayo based, instead with lots of fresh dill, olive oil, vinegar, mustard, and garlic). We also grilled kebabs with veggies and marinated chicken and tri-tip and had a rotisserie chicken on the grill (it's a rotisserie attachment that can be added to a Weber charcoal grill). It probably wasn't the lightest food but it was fresh and there were lots of veggies. I didn't overeat nor do much snacking, which was big win for me. I'm heading today for a camping trip. I'm packing some healthy snacks and NO chips! My goal is to stay mindful and not overeat.

I have been weighing and logging, but not posting. I seem to be in a funk. But the exercise is on point, as is the food. Need to beef up the water and watch the after dinner snacking. Old habits creep back in so quickly!

7/5 - 124- Starting greater then last round- in a bad way... Darn these long holidays- I know deep down I am bloated- went out to Mexican food Wednesday. My son is in town this weekend, celebrated my birthday he missed yesterday...continuating the eating bad today, took him out to dinner. EEEkkkksss! I will be lucky this round to get back to 124. I still have parties to go to Saturday and Sunday!!!! Played some great pickleball this morning spent all afternoon with my son cleaning out his room in hopes the house sale goes thru. Stress is getting to me even though I keep praying to God I am handing it over, another FAIL. Hope you are all doing better than me!

Hi everyone! I’m 34 years old and 164 cm (5’ 4,5”). I have a very sedentary life, since I am a PhD researcher. I work mostly from home. I’ve been overweight since I was 18 and since then I’ve gained more and more. In the last 1,5 years I have been between 103-105 kg (227-231 lbs). My ultimate goal weight is 70 kg (154 lbs), but firstly I want to go below 103 kg which I stuck for 1,5 years. Then I hope go below 100 kg (220 lbs) to two digits which is a psychological boundary.

I started on 20 June, it’s still early days so being consistent is very important throughout this challenge. I aim to take 1600 calories a day and reach my macro goals. I am not crazy strict, but I don’t wanna be too loose and off the track either.

I can’t believe this! In the last year, many times I have tried to lose weight but after a few weeks I have stuck in 103s. I have never managed to reach 102s for more than a year! I am so happy it works this time! Yesterday I ate less than my calorie goal. My macros are a bit off but more protein and less carbs then usual so I take it.

🎷 66 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 265 (my 195th). So grateful as always @Quiltingjaine for another round.
Goals for this round;
• First and foremost, no feeding frenzies

I was shocked to read back that my very first round in JGM10Ds, I was 10 pounds lighter in March 2019 !!!
I need to get my finger out & in the words of the song "Get Back to Where you Once Belonged" !!!!!!

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 134. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.

7/4 139.2 – (trend 139.4) 7.01 miles walked. Attended a thank you bbq for volunteers at National Trust, no low calorie choices, so had one burger on a bap & cake, confess to 2 pieces ! But resisted this turning into a binge as I was tempted, so tempted to turn to the chocolate, but I resisted 😊. A loss of 1.6 pounds, no binges this round. Unfortunately I failed to stay under 140 on 1 day, but ‘two out of three ‘ain’t bad’ !!!! It seems that words of songs are becoming a theme!!

7/5 139.2 (trend 139.3) 6.83 miles walked, less than 30% exercise calories eaten back. Ankle/leg still slowly improving, swelling slowly going down, it is making me reduce miles walked at the mo. as it makes it known when it’s has had enough!!
