Was kind of heavy on the snacks tonight! When I don't eat lots throughout the day, in the evening I crave lots of sugar!0 -

Well, it wasn't too bad of a day. I did go over, but it's not the end of the world. Today is a new day. Looking back at yesterday I could've chosen better and probably fewer snacks. But things I am proud of are that I pushed myself exercising, I did my cadence intervals on my bike for a half hour and I drank all my water. I also got a lot of fruits and veggies in - 8 servings when 5 is my goal:flowerforyou: Good job me.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Just out of curiousity does anyone have a particular "good" food your addicted to right now? I am addicted to Coco Wheats. I've had them every moring for a week now. They are 190 cal, are chocolaty, and keep me full. What more could I ask for?0 -

Well, it was a low day, but I went over the day before (I need to throw out my leftover buttercream frosting, I've been eating it on graham crackers!) I don't normally eat so low, but just wasn't super hungry. I've got some sinus thing going and my ears are plugged from it, as well as a sore throat... Kinda stinky!0 -

Your meals sound so yummy! I'm going to have to try these Coco wheats!
My favorite 'good' foods right now:
* Almond Milk (chocolate is soooo good).
* Homemade popcorn
* Skim Mozza Cheese
* Baked Tostito Scoops
* Dark Chocolate (is good for you in moderation!)
I've been experimenting with bunch of homemade salads too. So far my favorite is the chinese salad I made with crunchy steamed noodles, baked wontons, grilled chicken, orange slices, crushed almonds, green leaf lettuce, sesame oil, sesame seeds & white wine vingegar (rice would have been better but I used what I had kicking around).0 -

Exercise: I earned 269 calories today from walking.
Today I went to my husbands uncle's place... he is honestly, hands down the best cook I know. He served us 3 courses, it was really nice. I think that I did fairly well though! I watched my portions and only had a bit of everything but was still satisfied! I am so proud I didn't go over on my calories!
As a bonus, it was a beautiful day so my husband and I walked over. My dog was at home in the yard so I frequently had to make the 10 minute walk back and forth to check on her.
Drank 64 oz of water 4 days in a row! :drinker: Buying a 32 oz water bottle really helped!0 -

OK, so I didn't really want to post this, but I knew I had to, to be honest with myself. It wouldn't have been so bad if after dinner I would have only had one piece of pound cake or even half. But I know what I was thinking - I worked out really hard, I deserve a treat. I just could've handled it better. But I did get all my water in. And I really pushed myself exercising. I've been trying to gradually build up to jogging/running, doing intervals of walking and jogging. Yesterday I did my best mile (completed in the fastest time so far). So that made me proud. It's the first time I've been outside in the nice weather and the trail I was on had quite a few incline/declines, so getting a good time on it was an even bigger accomplishment for me. Today is a new day, with new goals - I will acheive them.
Everyone have a great day.:happy:0 -
I was so excited when this thread was mentioned, and haven't been on MFP since. LOL!
My husband has been very ill, hopefully getting better now, keeping my fingers crossed. He has lost 30# in 5 weeks. So, he is on a very high calorie diet plus 3 Ensure Plus a day. I just didn't feel right, buying all my low cal foods when he isn't supposed to eat that way. So, I've just been winging it for the past month.
I'm back now, I figured I won't be any good for him if I'm not any good to myself.
So, I'll be posting my foods as of tonight!
I really missed logging my foods on here, and the message boards, too.

It's just a coffee with two creams & two sugars. I don't even like coffee that much but I am addicted to these!!! An XL (3 cups) is 280 calories. I am able to work them into my calories for the day but I know they are insanely high! Usually I just get one on the weekend, but I've had one 6 days in a row this week :ohwell:0 -
tim horton's does have the best coffee, I drive thru to get one of the yogurts and the smell coming out of the window is intoxicating!0

I didn't get my calories from the right places today. I am going to try really hard not to get a coffee from Tim Hortons tomorrow. I have to go there for my job (my boss buys everybody something from there every Thursday morning, and its my job to purchase and deliver) so I will try something healthy.
Have a great day tomorrow everyone :drinker: !0 -

I'm glad I am not the only person who eats white bread! I'll buy the Sara Lee 45 and delightful wheat bread (and the kids will eat it too), but many times, I buy what's on sale. Two weeks ago, I had a coupon for buy one get one on IGA ShurFresh white bread. This past week, I had a coupon for BOGO on Sara Lee Whole Grain White Bread. Heck, I've got a family of 6, if I can get free stuff, I do! And I just try to fit it into my calories for the day!0 -

Agreed! I like sugar way to much. Seriously if I could only eat dessert all of the time I would! I really need to work on this!0 -

I'm going to do the Tim Horton's trip for you from now on! If you can break the cycle of the Double Double, I'll drink 1 gallon of water every day you don't get one! Are we on???? I just feel like you could have so many yummy things instead of the stupid coffee! Make one yourself with ff creamer and sweetner...go on a 12 step program, anything!! Just stop the madness!!! LOL! :laugh: :laugh:
Seriously, though, if it satisfies you, and you've been working it, I guess it's okay. Plus, I really don't want to drink a gallon of water.:noway:
You're doing good girl, I have the sugar thing going on, too. I just keep it out of the house, only my puddings and my fruit roll ups this week.0 -

I caved again today None tomorrow! I have no reason to be on that side of town what so ever, so no Timmy's for me! They are so quick, cheap, and taste delicious! Too bad they are so high in calories :grumble:
I really need to crack down everywhere, March has been crazy for me food wise. March/April are my crazy busy months at the office so I usually work late, thus eating cheap quick dinners instead of expensive healthy ones, and having zero energy/time to work out. I saw a .50 gain on the scale this week... its because of the coffee's I bet... so NO MORE.
Dawn: Good luck on your gallon of water tomorrow. :drinker: :happy:0 -

So I kinda fell off the wagon the last few days. I hit a plateau. I bumped my calories up some and went a little overboard. I'm hoping to get back to my regular plan tomorrow. So i'll post a new food diary then. Hope you all had a great weekend.0
