    Hello,
    I have been struggling to reach my goal weight. I am trying to build some muscle so I know that I will see my weight fluctuate (which is just annoying but I get it). My goal overall is to tone up. I just had a small foot procedure so I can’t exercise yet, however I am motivated to start. Good luck to all. Start date 7/19.

    I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
    ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
    My husband and I are retired.
    I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out.

    July 8: 206.8 Well as odd as it sounds I am happy with this weight. I have been up all week and decided yesterday that I need to get back on track. My goal of losing weight before my knee surgery unfortunately is not going to happen. I really struggle with weight loss especially in the summer when there are lots of extra good things to eat. Total knee replacement is on July 17 and I am traveling this weekend again to see friends.

    August 19: 199.8 So I've been off of here for awhile. I had total knee replacement on July 17 and have been focused on that for the last month. I did fill in the numbers that I had written down but not on here. My goal is to keep this weight down. I have several more weeks of PT and I'm still walking with a cane when I'm out and about. I'm so glad surgery is over and now I hopefully will be able to do more physical things.

    08/12-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- After a week of travel and very little movement or activity (car driving, waiting rooms etc.) I decided not to weigh as it is bound to be up. I can feel it. I don’t need the discouragement on something that was difficult to control. I am going to work hard this week to get back in the groove. I typed my DNW in blue because upon last check on the scale, I was up. Have a great week everyone!

    08/19-192.2-(Trend Weight: 191.1)- Good meals and too many snacks again yesterday. I’m so very proud of the meal choices I chose yesterday. So healthy and filled with things I would never have eaten a year ago. My diet is getting so much better! However, late night is still my downfall. It’s not hunger since I didn’t eat dinner until 9:00 pm and was satisfied. It’s just a thing. A bad thing. A very bad thing. Trying again today and hoping to reach that better mindset when the skies become dark and night time surrounds me. Luckily the snacks remain “approved snacks”. Just too many and/or too much. On another note, I finished the 2 season series “Firefly Lane” last night on Netflix. Wow. It will stay with me for awhile.
