    Hello Girl-friends, It's been S-L-O-W going, but today I weigh 303.8. Only about 4 lbs from the 200's. I'm trying not to back track. Last week, I ate an entire Costco pumpkin pie in only 2 days. Couldn't resist it (but I did leave off the whipped cream). So far today I've eaten a big bowl of Malt-o-meal hot cereal with a tablespoon of sugar and a cup of coffee. I'm on track.

    Occasionally, I go on Youtube and watch MY 600 POUND LIFE episodes to remind me to be careful with what I eat. It's so sad. My heart goes out to those people. I know how easy it is to get out of control with your weight. It has to do with a lot of factors. Most people don't understand that and make fun of Obese people. But we understand, don't we?

    I so totally agree. I never in my life thought I would be as heavy as I am now. And I'm sure the people on that show probably said the same thing at some point. But at least we're doing something about it and I've never seen a show but I assume that they're doing something about it if they're on that show. Keep moving forward!

    Update: 299.4 lbs today! Finally back in the 200's yay! It's been 9 years since I've been down to this weight. The next goal is to get down to 285 and lower. It's been 13 years since I weighed 285-260lbs range.

    Good for you Lisa! 👏🏼 Congratulations! You won't let it sneak back up on you, will you? Make it your goal to stay in the 200's. You inspire me. 😀 👍 🦋

    If I really want something sweet then I'll just have one jolly rancher or a sucker which lasts a while and isn't too many points. It usually takes the edge off.
    One of the things I've been doing if I want something sweet is frozen grapes. Oh my gosh I forgot how sweet they are and how awesome they are when they're frozen. I'm bringing them back to my diet.
    Thanks for the tip Jo-Casey and Nutbugs. Sounds delightful. I'm going to try it.

    I LOVE to snack on an entire can of Garbanzo beans. I always rinse them first in a strainer. GOYA is the best tasting brand, according to AMERICAS TEST KITCHEN and myself. 😋 Watch their garbanzo bean review here:

    They’re high protein and help with weight loss. 😋

    I've been slacking and lost my new decade by a couple pounds. I've only gone up in September which is not what I want to do. I know weight fluctuates but I also know that I have dug into that peanut butter tub too many times. I just feel like I lost focus. I'm joining a new gym on Monday, (cheaper than my old gym) so hopefully it will be motivating. Wedding is less than two months away now so it's crunch time.

    Here's to a fresh week! Happy Sunday!

    Jo-Casey, what do you mean by “lost my new decade”? To me, a decade means 10 years. I don’t understand.

    Warmest Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. 💍

    Oh it's slang WW uses when you go into another decade of pounds. Like for me I was 230's going into the 220's. Just nicknamed a new decade.

    And thank you!!!

    Tofu scramble. Yum! 😋

    xbuybatm4299.jpeg

    Tofu Scramble Recipe
    * Extra-Firm Tofu
    * Coconut Oil
    * Nutritional Yeast Flakes
    * Ground Turmeric
    * Garlic Powder
    * Onion Powder
    * Non-Dairy Milk
    * Spring Onion
    * Sea Salt
    You can also add optional veggies, such as:
    * Spinach
    * Bell pepper
    * Mushroom
    * Tomato
    * Kale
    * Black Beans
    * Artichoke Hearts
    * Olives

    How To Make Tofu Scramble?

    Crumble the tofu into small, uneven pieces with your hands. Set aside.

In a small bowl, mix together the nutritional yeast, turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of sea salt.

Heat the coconut oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Add the crumbled tofu to the pan and stir well, ensuring the tofu is evenly coated with the oil.

Gradually sprinkle the spice and nutritional yeast mixture over the tofu, stirring continuously to ensure even coverage.

Pour the non-dairy milk over the tofu. This will help distribute the spices and nutritional yeast evenly, creating a nice creamy texture.

Continue to cook the tofu, stirring frequently for about 10 minutes, until it is heated through and the spices are well incorporated. If the tofu seems dry, add a splash of more non-dairy milk.

Sprinkle the chopped spring onion over the tofu scramble. Stir well and adjust the seasoning with more sea salt if needed.

Serve your tofu scramble warm with your favorite sides, such as avocado slices, roasted tomatoes, or a slice of whole-grain toast. Enjoy!

This tofu scramble is a healthy, plant-based alternative to scrambled eggs that is rich in protein and flavor. Plus, it’s quick and easy to make!

    That tofu scramble looks delicious @7freshflowers. Oddly enough I just discovered this thread and was already planning on making a similar tofu scramble tonight for dinner.

    I'm not sure if it's too late to join this thread, but I'm gonna do it anyway because I have a question for you all that I cannot seem to find any answers for on Google or anywhere. I am on a 100 lb.+ weight loss journey myself, so I thought this thread was appropriate to post in.

    Here's my stats (also some context, I've been over 200 lbs - mostly in the 210-230 range for the past 10-12 years and went up to my highest ever during 2021-2022; prior to 2010 I hovered in the 160-180 zone) -
    F/50/5'7"
    SW 267 (April 2023)
    CW 208 (September 2024)
    GW 158

    I have lost approx. 60 lbs over the last year and a half. I thought doing it slow would help me avoid getting loose skin. I have mostly avoided that, although my thighs sag and jiggle quite a bit since I've lost weight (they don't look anything like they did before the weight gain). However the strangest part is - I now have these two round lumps of fat on each side of my outer thighs (around the middle of each outer thigh - about two inches in diameter). They are exactly the same on each side and I never had those before when I was at my highest weight or prior to any of my weight gain. They stick out and cause the contours of my thighs under leggings or jeans to look really odd. Has anyone else ever had that?

    I'm wondering if I continue to lose weight, will they go away eventually? My goal is to lose another 50 (but I'd probably be satisfied even with another 30). I don't want to wind up having to get lipo to get rid of them because frankly I don't have that kind of money and I'm more than a little scared of it. But I'm just wondering if this is something that's ever happened to anyone else during a significant weight loss because I can't find a thing online about it. I'm really insecure about my "thigh lumps" and I'm wondering if this is something that is a normal part of losing a lot of weight. The most I've ever lost in the past is 20-30 here and there, so this is the most significant weight loss I've ever undertaken.

    Hello Shelley. Welcome to MY 100 POUND JOURNEY. Thanks for joining. Sounds like you have Lipoma.

    Don’t worry. Lipomas are benign (not cancerous), fatty lumps that are quite common. Lipomas can appear anywhere where you have fat cells and most commonly grow on the neck, chest, back, shoulders, arms and thighs. The cause of lipomas is often unknown, but some families have a genetic tendency to develop them.

    Lipomas are usually detected in middle age. Treatment generally isn't necessary, but if the lipoma bothers you, is painful or is growing, you may want to have it removed.

    Once a lipoma has developed, it will not go away on its own. This is because a lipoma is a collection of fat cells. 🍎

    Hello. The year draws closer to and end.
    SW: about 390 (first weight 386) July 4th
    CW: 340 (sept 27)(.58 a day)
    GW: 239 (June 1 2025) (.48 a day)
    150 /332 or .45 lbs a day. It is going to be a tall order to maintain that late in the show. When my maint drops down to 2500 instead of 3500. The obvious answer it to increase activity as i go to keep maint level up.

    I finally hit a plateau/stall that isn't a real plat/stall when i look at overall and month and week. I'm about to have another drop that is faster than my meta would allow. I feel it and have faith in it.

    Shelley, you won’t need to get Liposuction.

    Liposuction is not a standard treatment for lipoma removal. Although liposuction leads to minimal scarring, the lipoma would not be completely removed and there is a significantly higher risk of recurrence of the lipoma.

    Excision is usually the only treatment that can completely remove a lipoma. Excision is the surgical removal of a lipoma through a cut in your skin. It's usually performed in a doctor's office or surgical center

    Hi, Welcome to the new members.

    I've been having problems opening posts in two bookmarks.
    What's your most recent NSV?
    Photo only success stories.
    When I click on the notifications, I only see 2(!) rows of page numbers, and whatever page I click on, nothing opens.
    Has any of you had a similar issue?
    Thanks,
    Monika
