You can do it Annie. I did it a few months ago. It's not fun, but the pain isn't fun either, so it will be worth it.

    Hang in there!

Lisa, thanks for the tip about the start of a new month. I havenโ€™t figured out how to bookmark on my phone so I just do a search every time I log in. Iโ€™m not the most tech savvy. ๐Ÿ™‚

All the new people There will be a new link posted sometime today that will bring you to the new November thread. This happens every month and is a great new beginning. Once there, at the top of the page will be a little piece of white ribbon. Click on this to turn it to color. That is the bookmark.

Then next time you log in, click on your picture then on the word bookmark and you will get a list of your bookmarks. If the new thread is the only one you turned the ribbon color, then you only click on the title of the page and you are here!

Mo - you are rocking it! Great job with the step aerobics and getting all of your activity in. I'll bet it helps decompress the stress you get at your job.

Lisa - love the photos of Egg and reading about her antics. The neatest cat we ever had was a gray one, Egg's twin, who showed up as a stray starving kitten at the farmhouse one day. He was a "Hemingway cat" with extra toes, so DH named him Mitts. He was a barn cat, but very friendly and affectionate and sadly got hit on the busy road in front of our house. I say I'll never get another cat but if another Mitts were to show up, he'd sure be welcome. :p

Annie - so when your sis comes, will you be scheduling your colonoscopy and/or other scans they want you to have? Hang in there on the liquid diet.

Rita - Love Beetlejuice! What a great costume.

PDizzle - cute photo! Turbo (cute name!) is a champ for holding still for it. I can't remember your name - could you please sign it or a nickname you want to use and your location, specific or general, at the end of each post? Thank you so much. Helps us keep each other straight. ;)

Lanette I went ahead and scheduled the colonoscopy for January, and let my sister know. So I hope she can be here for that. She was going to drive up next week but cancelled because protests are predicted for after the election. She will be busy with her family and Thanksgiving and Christmas after that. So I don't know when we will see her.

Rebecca ~ Why in the world have you decided not to wash your hair?

I did another wall in the den today....vacuumed, mopped, cobweb removal and still need to dust table tops and lamps. I have one more half wall to do. We have an antique slate topped table in there that I can't figure out how to renew as it looks pretty dull.

Carol - a quick Google suggests a thorough clean with dish soap and water. When dry you can polish with slate oil, teak oil, or WD40!
Sounds as if you are making progress!

Quiet day. Did quite a bit of writing. I enjoyed researching the Mesozoic period, which is perfectly represented in the Jurassic Coast in the South West of England. I've been there and picked up fossils on the beach.

We had Dim Sum for lunch, Waitrose delivered, and I made a heavenly organic frittata for dinner with a cherry tomato salad. Plenty of frittata left for a sandwich lunch tomorrow.

Trying to decide whether to dye my roots tomorrow, after I've killed off the dinosaurs. :p I will enjoy that. I have a Zoom with my girlfriends at 4 pm.

Because I got tired of washing my hair and feeling the chemical buildup, and having an itchy scalp. I have tried so many different brands its ridiculous. Of course most are not the expensive brands either. So just giving my hair a break. Its doing well, not noticeably oily, or weird. Its a wee bit flatter but the ACV is keeping my scalp good. I have always wanted to just do away with shampooing my hair altogether, but I didn't do the correct things. My goal is to just rinse it when I shower every other day, massage my scalp daily so my natural oils get to the ends of my hair. I am making Lee smell it daily, "hey good morning, smell my hair"! I don't want it having a weird scent, and since I have no sense of smell the task is up to him!๐Ÿ˜
