    I've been here for a while, since mid-2015, lost from obese to healthy weight, been maintaining for about 9 years, still focusing on health and reasonable fitness - good life balance, essentially.

    With your background, I'm sure you can become a valued member of the MFP Community. I hope you'll read threads here, comment on them with your expertise: That would be a great way to help the largest number of people succeed.

    I hate to say it, but you may see some skepticism from people here for your credentials or intentions. There have been others in the past who post about their health/fitness credentials, but then start with "DM me for more help" kinds of replies . . . and turn out to be skeezy marketers, often of expensive MLMs, or people who are monetizing the web presence by posting compensated links or other such questionable tactics. I'm sure you wouldn't want MFP users to confuse you with people like that!

    Given your interests, even though you're on a solid health/fitness path yourself, there may even be opportunities to learn from others about both challenges and solutions. I've certainly learned a lot in my nearly 10 years on MFP.

    I completely understand the skepticism—there are unfortunately a lot of people out there who misuse platforms like this for marketing purposes. That’s not my intention at all. I’m here because I genuinely enjoy discussing health and fitness, and I believe we can all learn from each other, no matter our background.
