Wonderful job @ContraryMaryMary!! Congrats! You look great in the photo!! Very happy!

I hope your sore throat doesn’t turn into much more. Rest up.

The bar I went to didn't do Buffalo wings. So was able to stay veggie! Lol.
Just picked at a few chips and jalapenos and guac
Being in a London Pub for a few English Pints with chips and spicy guacamole is kind of a dream. Sounds like a very good time, and the deprivation was manageable.

As an American I read this as a tortilla Corn Chip and all was well, then I realized you may be talking about French Fries smoothed in guacamole...I shuttered.

    @chris_in_cal haha. Lovely spot.

I translated into American! I was eating what we call here tortilla chips or nacho chips - just omitted the prefix! You are correct though - chips otherwise woulda meant fries!

Congrats on your HM @ContraryMaryMary ! I'm glad you felt better for the race. Also glad your body cooperated, even when the hills got hillier. LOL I love that. They always seem to get hillier as the day goes on. You look great! I think I have that exact same vest! I hope your throat feels better soon.

Love the breakfast conversation @tarun_yadavA . Great speedy run this morning.

You're doing great @Emilienewme ! Running and talking with a friend is a great way to not notice how far you have gone. The superset does sound like a very tough workout. I probably wouldn't have like that very much either. Glad you like Coach Amy.

Wow. Twice as far as you planned @Laurz9191 ! That's great. Humm. Not sure about the person being barefoot and in shorts though. I guess if they were comfortable, who am I to judge?

@daria0919 That's a great looking group. I'm glad your new insert is working well!

Glad PT helped @AlphaHowls . You are doing great, as always.

Hopefully it was just, as you said, a mild inner ear episode @quilteryoyo - hope it’s over with and it’s not a sign you’re getting sick.

    Thanks @daria0919 .

Thanks @kgirlhart . Nice 12 miles yesterday. We're going to have a rainy week here too.

@chris_in_cal Glad you were able to rain with no pain! Sounds like you have a great plan.

Great run @tarun_yadavA . The super bowl was so-so and, somehow, I missed the commercials the news said were the best this morning. I THOUGHT I was paying attention. I was not a fan of the half time show either.

Thanks @Laurz9191 . Great run. I think the treadmill is great for speed work. I "makes" you hit your targets. Ignore Garmin. How you feel is more important.

I have not had another episode, but am feeling a bit blah this morning. I'm currently waiting for the heat pump people to get here to install the new one. I'll see what I feel like doing after they leave...I'm thinking it will take them most of the day.

I hope that happens for you. This last week I had a water heater-heat pump installed and I'm very excited to see my bills drop. For me to get off natural gas my last thing is my oven/stove, then I can cap off the gas.

    Tennis ball necklace

I did not have all that this morning, but I used my medicine bag and if it 'bounced' I had to stabilize until it stopped thumping me.

@chris_in_cal I thought most people liked using natural gas if it was available. Isn't it cheaper? Me, personally, I don't like it because it scares me, but I didn't grow up with it.

@WarmJellyfish Sorry you are having such a hard time. I hope you can get the cough under control and get some sleep. When I get a cough that bad, I have my doctor write a prescription for cough syrup that has codeine in it. That usually lets me sleep.

Nice @daria0919 . I hope you don't get any damage from the impending storm. My mom once had a cough she couldn't get rid of and our neighbor gave her some moonshine. It really worked...she said it was because she was too afraid to cough because she might have to take more. LOL I guess it burned. I've never had moonshine (the "real" stuff), so don't know how it tastes.

@John772016 Great job on the 5K when you weren't feeling well. Sorry about your cell phone issues too.

Sounds like a great run @Teresa502 . That hike sounds, and looks, really tough. The waterfall and sunset are really pretty! Funny that your friend pressure washed her clothes before washing them!

@ContraryMaryMary I hope all of your muscles recover quickly and palates helped instead of making it worse.

Looks cool @AlphaHowls . Did you need to do that to help your back? I just saw the tennis ball necklace. That's interesting. Does it change your stride length or just get you to quit bouncing so much?

@quilteryoyo changes length temporarily while you work to stabilize core, slight lean forward

It was just something I stumbled across on Facebook and thought, why not!
