I had just been walking faster during my "run" portion of walk/run. Today I ran all the run portions!

@Lojeandres Fabulous! 🎆

My blood pressure was excellent. I was surprised I got any positive results at the doctor because my eating has been so poor. Also down 4 kg since my last doctors appointment.

After four months of low carb dieting, my blood sugar was 133 this am. Not ideal, but a whole lot better than before (70 points or more higher), and without drugs. Hoping in another three month to get it to 100.

Even my NSV is to take a selfie with my daughters and see the dimples on my face again. I am inching closer to my goal and hopefully by the end of this year i will achieve that

Today though I felt discouraged. My internal self talk is, “this is where I currently am in my journey.”
@Garden875 Good job! I used to tell myself that I'm a fit/healthy/… person who's currently still hidden inside a slightly less fit/healthy/… person 😉 Thanks for the kudos on my 365 day award!

@1191sawk Your photos are seriously inspiring. I hope you feel incredibly good (and proud of what you have accomplished).

2nd day over 20,000 steps. Did my first ever spin class today and it was after a 20 min run.

Seeing more muscle definition after a winter spent lifting. Sure, it's under some fat but my silhouette is no longer just roundedness, there are actual bulges where muscles live beneath. I like that!

Went from a size 18-20 to a size 12. Still determined to keep losing. Now I have years of way too big clothes to get rid of.

Planned to spend 12 days helping a family member move into a new home in a rural European town. Ended up spending almost a month.
Typically on a two week trip, I go nuts and come back 20,000 or so calories above goal.
This trip, which was twice as long as normal, including flight today (I’m an airport nosher), I expect to be about 5,500 total over.
I brought a quality yoga mat with me and have been stretching regularly, and went running many mornings, in addition to moving furniture, the constant cleaning during and after renovation work we were living in, and just working my bottom off in general.I did enjoy local doughnuts and a large bowl of coffee every morning, but made it a point to walk the two miles round trip to the bakery to “earn” them.
I found the scale while unpacking and was pleased that I was maintaining. Can’t wait to see if the scale at home confirms.
Felt much more in control this trip, for a change. I feel like it was an “I don’t have to try everything, choose what’s most appealing” travel turning point.

I can button my gray wool cardigan from Banana Republic ($1.50 thrift store find) again. I love this thing. It is so cozy and it goes with everything I own. I'll love it more when it is a little looser, but it looks perfectly respectable as is.

I experienced 3 NSV's today. 1st was being able to wear a pair of mid calf boots and they zipped up!! My calves have always been to big to fit nice boots. 2nd, I wore a blouse that I bought just before Christmas which was snug on the tummy and it fit much better today. There was room to move in the tummy area and 3rd was that I'm able to wear a bra that I hadn't been able to wear for quite some time as it was too tight around the band and digging in. It's amazing how such small victories can help boost someone's mood 😊

@mamana3 I too have experienced the calves too wide for nice boots. Even when I was 115-125 and riding horses I always had to buy wide calf riding boots. Fortunately I don't have that problem with all the snow boots I've bought over the last few years. And I will worry about riding boots if and when that happens. I'm pretty old (68) for horseback riding and while i'd like to, I will wait until I have reached goal weight (ten pounds more) and then I might start looking to lease a nice quiet horse.

I was at work conference in Vegas last month and was oh so surprised when I slipped into my suit from a year ago and it fit just right to where I actually needed the belt to keep the pants up hahaha….felt goooood that night strolling the conference activities 😂😂

I have less than 100lbs to lose! I've changed my goal weight a few times. From my starting weight, I wanted to lose about 150lbs. Now I want to lose another 55-77lbs. Yay! A more manageable number.

I’ve gone down a pant size and my belt is almost two big now.
