3/31-144-The rain should let up soon around here. I am setting up my sewing machine at my friends house for the week. She is the one with the crippling anxiety that I have been helping. She is our widowed friend we lived with while our house was being built during Covid. Covid made her spiral down, so I’ve dealt with/helped her before. Life has thrown her some really hard situations that I have never had to deal with, but I am able to help her with mindfulness and breathing exercises. She IS having more good days, thank goodness.

Gosh @deepwoodslady so sorry! I hope you guys found a warm hotel room. I grew up in MI and remember an ice storm when I was young (around this time of year too) where we were out of power for over a week. I still remember my mom making jam on a camping stove to save the fruit we had in a freezer.

Mini-goal stick with it for 30 days): 27/30

    Starting Round 291 : 193.4
    3/22 - 193.2 cycling
    3/23 - 193.8 nothing, not feeling well
    3/24 - 193.2 walking
    3/25 - 193.2 cycling
    3/26 - 192.2 walking
    3/27 - 192.2 walking
    3/28 - 190.6 cycling
    3/29 - 188.8 walking
    3/30 - 189.4 cycling
    3/31 - 188.2 walking

No more WL mini goals, I just don't like them. They don't help me stay on track and I just don't like having deadlines for WL. Sure, I mean in my head I'm going to think, "ohhh, by my trendline I will be below 185 lbs by Ireland." But I'm not going to make it a goal and I'm not going to track it.

@Chapter_3 Carolyn, thank you for hanging in here! We all love you and your insights.

@deepwoodslady Donna, sending prayers that you have found a safe, warm spot!

So many thoughts and comments in my head and apparently so few firing brain cells! Why will it not highlight @deepwoodslady above???

3/29  134.0  DH went to GC with friend so I could continue my modified “fast.” I changed my macros. Tonight (well after my eating window) we’re taking a new neighbor who works until 5, to barbecue. 🤦‍♀️ I will order my regular burnt ends and bring most of them home.

    3/22 - 168.9

    3/23 - 169.1

    3/24 - 169.0

    3/25 - 169.5

    3/26 - 169.6

    3/28 - 167.9

    3/29 - DNW

    3/30 - 167.2

3/31 - 167.9 - Wow, what a hectic weekend. Feeling good despite this uptick - it's from pizza last night before BF left for the week for his 3 weeks of training (and he took the remaining pizza with him, yay!) I'm on my own for meals - I did meal prep (thank you, Crockpot) a lentil curry which chicken. My first time trying lentils so hoping I like it, hehe! The Man didn't meal prep (thankfully since he doesn't have a suite hotel like last time so only a mini fridge) so I didn't have meals for dinner either. I found a healthy macro-friendly meal prep that was easy to cut in half for 2 meals for me. I then got 2 frozen lasagna dinners that are low carb and high protein. Not the cleanest, but much better than the normal frozen dinners. He'll need more shelf-stable prep next week so I need to start planning now to be strategic for myself and for him - it's hard to find a good meal prep that is easy to divide in half and isn't wasteful so I'll be focusing on that going forward. Here's to a good week of hitting my goals, though!

Highlighting a username is so much trickier now. First you need a space before the "@". Second, then as you start typing, a pulldown appears. It seems that if you don't select the name from the pulldown, even if you have typed it exactly, it does not highlight. Lastly, if you type the whole name and don't do the pulldown and you realize it, it appears you can only trigger the pulldown again by deleting and retyping from the "space" "@" "name". These are what seem to be the solutions for me. Rather rediculous!

Edit: I should have tagged you @quiltingjaine

    Measurable Daily Goals
    🚶🏽- Closing my rings M-S Move = 700/Exercise = 45/Stand = 12)
    🍎- Tracking/Under Calorie Budget (~ 1650 ~)
    ✅ - Macros - Protein (75g - 100g) Carbs < 75g
    💧- Water - 50 oz minimum
    🚫 - No Wine
    ⬇️- Downward trend

    3/22 229.2
    3/23 DNW
    3/24 229.2 Ready, Reset, Focus!
3/25 230 ~ 🚶🏽💧Not happy with that number at all….but it makes sense. Was over on calories but did make it to the gym. No problem closing my rings: move 1004/700, exercise 85/45, stand 14/12, so a very good physical day. I've got to review my nutritional approach (again)….Ready, Reset, Focus!
    3/26 230
    3/27 230
3/28 228.0 ✅💧🚫⬇️ Yesterday was a day of rest after returning to the gym on Monday, treadmill at home Tuesday and Wednesday (work days). Weird how the scale didn't move for 3 days and then suddenly down 2lbs. Not complaining by any means. Today is on track, been to the gym and rings almost closed, so it will be a good day. It's "date" night and we are going to sushi later and a concert.
3/29 228.8🚶🏽🍎✅💧Enjoyable night out. Today, got in a 2 mile medium effort walk to get my steps in. Catching up on MFP and then time for a little more March Madness! :)
3/30 DNW 🚶🏽🍎✅💧 Good workout this morning. I went to the gym knowing I'd be a couch potato the rest of the day. Did some flexibility exercises and core for 30 minutes. 15 minutes biceps and then 30 minute HIIT (my verson) on the treadmill.
3/31 229.2 🚶🏽🍎✅💧I got nothing :) Hello April! Spring has sprung!! Yes!!!

@Chapter_3 ~ Glad you took the time to "pause". I love this:

99.99% of the time when I fall-off the health journey it’s because another part of my life is OUT OF BALANCE … & my thought patterns become harmful

@deepwoodslady ~ Sending prayers your way. Be Safe.

@quiltingjaine ~ sometimes I have to type a name several times to get it to turn and stay blue. So annoying. It seems that you have to select it from the list but the list doesn't always stay visible.

@SModa61 ~ I hadn't noticed the space before the @ issue…. Still loving this update!

See ya tomorrow in round 292!

@Chapter_3 : I know you're taking a break but if you see this, just know we've all had tough love moments when we needed to be strong. I hope he finds his way to a positive result for his own sake. But if that doesn't happen, you will have done what you need to do to help him, and that's key….

    This is a test.

@SModa61 No “leading” space, a list was presented with you at the top.

@SModa61 without the space it didn’t highlight so now appears to be indented

@deepwoodslady I hope you haven’t turned into an icicle! I can NOT bear to be cold!

UGH! Did they really think these changes were necessary? I’m about ready to pick up a Venti Flat White (made with HWC) at Starbucks and drive 8 miles to Yonutz for breakfast!!!

Fell off the challenge bandwagon in round 256, managed to keep losing weight until June 12th when I hit 155.9 (70.7 kg). I fell off the weight loss wagon shortly after. Decided to start back up the day before Round 278 started.

    SW Rnd 291 143.3 (65 kg)

3/22- 142.7 (64.7 kg) Another overnight whoosh. We shall see what tomorrow brings. I had a lot of sodium today.

3/23- 142.9 (64.8 kg) Today was a rainy/snowy/sleety day. Light lunch, but heavy, high sodium dinner. Random fact I just learned today: there are women specific sleeping bags often with targeted extra insulation zones around the torso and feet. I had no idea. That's brilliant and now I want one.

3/24- 143.7 (65.2 kg) Went to bed past my bedtime, didn't post

3/25- 143.4 (65 kg) It's a low energy day for me, probably due to going to bed later than normal. Strange dreams too. I dreamt the Barney ( yes, the purple dinosaur) characters had a side gig as a metal band. Scratching my head at where that came from.

3/26- 142.6 (64.7 kg) Burger night at our favorite restaurant. I remembered not to eat the whole thing and didn't finish my fries either. My stomach is much happier for it.

3/27- 142.3 (64.5 kg)  I had an unexpected short day at work and got off two hours early. It worked out nicely because I was able to go get my bloodwork done, go return some things and get my glasses adjusted before my eye doctor closed for the rest of the week. It was a productive afternoon.

    3/28-142.9

    3/29- 142.8

    3/30- 143.3

3/31- 144.1 (65.4 kg) Starting to slip. This is the time last year I went off track, so maybe there's a pattern I need to break.

🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 03/31-195.8- (Trend Weight: 195.3) A huge gain this round but I must admit that eating has been difficult in our emergency situation(s). Hopefully all will be resolved soon and life can resume in a normal fashion soon! 1.6 lbs up.

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!
