    Congratulations on your race @martaindale ! That is an impressive improvement.

    @quilteryoyo Your nieces are adorable.

    I ran 11 miles today. It was so humid and the run was a bit of a struggle. It was cloudy though and there was a breeze, so that helped with the heat some. I saw a couple of cottontail rabbits today and some pretty horses and lots of wildflowers. So it was a good run, just a very sweaty run.

    Awesome race @martaindale. I’m so pl asked for you.

    6km today for me. I missed my Sunday long run as I aggravated my back raking woodchip (it was niggly before I started). Lots of rolling last night plus a muscle relaxer and a heavy strength anti inflammatory and I woke feeling great this morning. Couldn’t run long as I had to finish the raking! All done now though so back to routine tomorrow.

    Thanks for the advice on contacting Garmin, I had just order a generic cable on Amazon for 12 euros & it arrived this morning thankfully but I will email Garmin and see if they will send me a proper the as like @quilteryoyo says the generic one probably wont last.

    I ran 7 miles this morning. It was another super sweaty run. It was so humid, and the dew point was 71. It should be a little nicer tomorrow and Wednesday. I'm not sure if I will run in the morning though. I have my interview at 9:30 so I may wait until after that to run.

    Ya'll convinced me to join Strava (well @tarun_yadavA convinced me I could meet my dream runner woman/partner) I can't believe it's been a year.

    Great runs everyone! I liked them as I read through the posts.
    One of these days I'll get around to start re-using my Strava account…

    Cute pic of the ladies @quilteryoyo!

    Good luck on the interview @kgirlhart! I always liked running after interviews, personally, helped me burn off whatever energy I had left!

    Great shoe porn @AlphaHowls!

    Garmin gave me a "It's time to Let Go" badge today; Piss off Garmin, those were my favourite shoes and only have about 400 miles on them (as far as Garmin knows 😉…. ). Though I gotta admit, I was actually thinking, as I was running, "These shoes are feeling a bit clunky today" & I already stopped using them for races last year!

    19/05 - 13.15km / 8.17 miles

    Total = 95.35km / 65.76 miles (Goal - 161Km / 100 miles)

    Around 12⁰ C and nothing but 🌞 & some cool breezes for my run.
    As it's the first long weekend of the 'almost' summer the city was fairly quiet to run through which made it really nice. Lots of people on the streets to dodge, but not as many cars!
    As opposed to run the other day looking for shade, today I was following the sun through the streets!

    Nerve pain continues, though barely noticeable while running or walking today, a great way to remind me never to sit down!….time to call the Dr.s though as it's been going on too long, ugh….

    Hi everyone!

    I have 2 runs to post. Yesterday I ran 8.3km while my daughter was at her swim lesson.

    Today I ran 16.1km as my final long run before my next HM. I am quite sceptical about getting a PR, as the weather will most likely be too warm for me, but I’ll give it my best. I’ll be forcing myself to taper the rest of the week ;).

    Both runs were nice and uneventful.

    130.8/270 km for May.

    Great runs & good luck with the HM later @Laurz9191!

    You never know, one of my best charity runs (a 10K) was on a day that was 39⁰C (about 102⁰F); I'm pretty sure my body was like, 'get me the f' out of here,… faster'…..I had a ridiculous good race time for what was a ridiculously hot day to have a run.

    Regardless, I hope you enjoy it!
