    7/11-139-Helping at the quilt shop for a special sale. We get fed lunch and I try to walk around as much as I can to get my steps in and it’s usually a three day thing. I can only help today and will go play pickle ball first, early this morning, drink my special protein packed drink and not eat the free lunch or the snacks offered.

    🌸My name is Allie, and I've been a MyFitnessPal (MFP) user for many years. I genuinely enjoy using the app to track my food, and I find it to be the best tool for this, especially since I tend to eat the same foods regularly.

    I recently created a new profile because I wanted to change my old username (which was almost 20 years old), but MFP only allows one username change. In the past, I would plan my meals almost every day, but I often didn't stick to them. I used to workout about five days a week but once Covid hit and all of the gyms closed, I stopped working out and I haven't been able to get motivated to start again. I would start and then quit after just a few days. It seemed like it would take forever to get back to where I used to be. But now, too much time has passed and too much weight has piled on and I need to do something about it before I am just too far gone.

    The entire MFP app feels completely different from what it used to be. I particularly miss the old homepage where I could see my friends' comments and interact with the community. It feels like such a lonely journey now without that communal aspect. I really enjoyed feeling like part of a supportive group, and I hope that feature is still available in some form that I haven't discovered yet.

    With this new profile, I'm hoping for a fresh start and to finally reach my goals. I would love to connect with others for accountability, motivation, and companionship on this journey.

    My goal for this round it to end better than I started.

    7/11  133.0  I actually had a small serving of angel hair and fresh sourdough bread. I expected the uptick to be worse. 

    7/12  134.0 Late salty supper? Or continued reaction to carby dinner the night before? I’ll ride the wave 🏄‍♀️ 🌊 I did something to my knee just walking in the house yesterday. I plan to go to water fitness but I’m not sure about some of the exercises.

    Restarting, after a long absence... I've found success on MFP and this group in the past and ready to do it again. I was slender and fit my entire life until menopause hit in my early 40s and have been struggling with my weight ever since. I will be doing well with my fitness and lifestyle choices and then either life stresses or recently injuries cause a set back and I gain 20 lbs. (or more) super quick. This will be my 4th time in 8 years to lose this weight. Determined to make it the last time I have to do this!

    2018 SW = 172.0 lbs. End Weight = 141.5 lbs.

    2022 SW = 193.9 lbs. End Weight = 143.6 lbs.

    2024 SW = 165.8 lbs. End Weight = 144.6 lbs.

    Start Weight on 7/6/25 = 169.7lbs. Goal Weight = Under 145 lbs. (5'4, 55-year-old female)

    Goals for Round 302: I will be on vacation the last few days of this round, goal is to bank some good weight loss in the days before vacation to hopefully start Round 303 no higher than this round's starting weight.

    End Round 301: 167.7 lbs.

    7/10: 167.4 lbs. I'm recovering from an injury - currently on week 5 of an expected 8-to-10-week recovery, so mostly sedentary all day, steps have dropped from my usual 10-20,000 per day to well under 2,000 daily. I have started in the last few days some non-weight baring exercises to keep my body somewhat moving but my calorie burn is obviously way down…weight loss will be slow until I can start moving again like normal but committed to persevere!

    7/11: 167.4 lbs. No change on the scale from yesterday but it was a successful day none the less. Ate within my plan and seems like 5 days in, the crazy hunger of always wanting something (specifically junk) is at bay and the food noise has quieted. If nothing else, I am feeling better eating healthier!

    My BHAG is not about weight, it's about sleep and eating. For this 10 days, no matter how much or how little I sleep, I will not eat unreasonable amounts of junk at 4am. IF I eat at 4 am, it will be reasonable foods in reasonable amounts(not a pint of ice cream and a cinnamon roll). Of course, i expect weight loss to follow.

    07/10-190.8 ❌ - (Trend Weight: 190.5) I don’t think I could be more disappointed in myself than I am right now. Overwhelmed. I am hoping for a great round for everyone, myself included. I’m not giving up! Hair appt yesterday and lunch out with my DGS #2. Meals went well, exercise better, water consumption low, snacks over the top. Should I be snacking when I’m hungry or out of habit/cravintgs? Hmmmm…..

    Goals for every round;

    • First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
    • to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
    • be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end

    I need to remain consistent - it does work! I aim to lose a pound this round. Good luck for success everyone.

Thankfully able to complete all movement yesterday. Hubby got home last night & we’re packing for the beach today (of course after the Wimbledon ladies final) … Leaving tomorrow morning before dawn. Simple / easy recipes w/ fresh healthy, whole foods & electrolytes - everything planned out. This will be a health-fest celebration! (Of course, my land mine is portion control…) Im wearing my “#HSF” identity (not the eat every cake, pastry, chip & cheese, margarita in sight “identity”.) Staying at a resort with pools, basketball courts, beach volleyball tennis & pickle ball cts… a short hop to the beach - a paradise for Tucker / activity ! This is Tucker‘s (DGS) very first trip to the beach. It will also be my very first time choosing to be a different person… Not denial… Just being who I really want to be!     Joining for Round 302! Goal is 1 lb. loss for this round. Stuck at 137-ish for awhile.

    7/12 - 137. 2 lb (up 0.2 since last round)
