One for tonight and one for the next day, most likely. It should help me get back on track. I just need to get through today and right now, I’m feeling disgusted enough to be strong. Hopefully it will stay that way. I’ve still got time to turn this thing back around somewhat before the end of the challenge. It’s time to take a good look at myself in the mirror, as Michael would say. It’s time for me to change my ways.

    🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 302 (my 232nd). So grateful to @Quiltingjaine to keeping this going for such a long time – thank you.

    Goals for every round;

    • First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
    • to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
    • be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end

    I need to remain consistent - it does work! I aim to lose a pound this round. Good luck for success everyone.

    7/10 142 – good that eating on plan is showing results, but need to stick at it. 10.43 miles walked.

    7/12 DNW - away for the weekend in Stratford-upon-Avon. 8.93 miles walked.

    7/14 141.8 – 4.83 miles walked around the village before we left for home.

    7/15 142.2 – 7.22 miles walked. Meeting DSs & FFs for lunch today; they are all currently doing Slimming World so it will be easy to make sensible choice from menu. Last time we went to this place I had Cajun chicken bowl which was delicious, may choose again.

    Yesterday: πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ16k, healthy macros, appropriate portions. Good water. First time @ beach vacay with 🚫alcohol. Do NOT miss it at all! Especially after viewing so many β€œover-drinking” parents around their children. Am I judging? Yes. No apologies here.
    We also made the decision to eat-in all meals @ the condo - prepare, eat, clean-up all as a family… It’s been wonderful family time! (Both hubby & I enjoy all things kitchen). However, I’m almost 67 & have always made dining out a primary activity for most meals while on vacay… This has been a wonderful change of pace and deeply satisfying.

    7/11: 214 - I did get my exercise in yesterday but the stress from just personal life sunk in and I binged on snacks last night. The day started off better then it ended but today is a new day.

    7/14: 212Β - Didn't do much over the weekend. I loved the taste of Oath protein (the clear ones) so I bought some more before Amazon Prime days were over. This time I bought the Coconut one and it arrived yesterday. I haven't tried it yet but plan on working it into my macros today. The lemon one was so good and I pray this flavor is just as good! Trying to motivate myself into working out, I have been so tired lately. I think I may need to look into taking a B12 supplement. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good quality B12?

    7/15: 215  It's so odd that our weight fluctuates as much as it does. Although it's not a good feeling that the weight went up, I still like weighing everyday to help keep me accountable. I tried the Coconut Pina Colada clear protein shake and it's just as good as the lemon one! I think these will be my new favorites for a while. I only got in one 30 minute exercise yesterday. I had planned for two 30 minute sessions. I feel like I juggle so much and I am all over the place. I have plans written out and time blocked off, I just have to be more mindful of sticking to my plans. Today's schedule only allows me a 30 minute exercise session but I will see what I can do to add some additional activity. 😊

    164. Scale flickered at 163.8 this morning, but didn’t stay. Tried taking my socks off but no luck socks don’t weigh that much πŸ˜‚

    Started P90X3 yesterday - Beachbody workout. Really liking it and completely kicked my behind! I have done Beachbody workouts for the past 12 years but had fallen off lately. It’s humbling to start again but I believe in myself.

    Restarting, after a long absence... I've found success on MFP and this group in the past and ready to do it again. I was slender and fit my entire life until menopause hit in my early 40s and have been struggling with my weight ever since. I will be doing well with my fitness and lifestyle choices and then either life stresses or recently injuries cause a set back and I gain 20 lbs. (or more) super quick. This will be my 4th time in 8 years to lose this weight. Determined to make it the last time I have to do this!

    2018 SW = 172.0 lbs. End Weight = 141.5 lbs.

    2022 SW = 193.9 lbs. End Weight = 143.6 lbs.

    2024 SW = 165.8 lbs. End Weight = 144.6 lbs.

    Start Weight on 7/6/25 = 169.7lbs. Goal Weight = Under 145 lbs. (5'4, 55-year-old female)

    Goals for Round 302: I will be on vacation the last few days of this round, goal is to bank some good weight loss in the days before vacation toΒ hopefullyΒ start Round 303 no higher than this round's starting weight.

    End Round 301: 167.7 lbs.

    7/10:Β 167.4 lbs. I'm recovering from an injury - currently on week 5 of an expected 8-to-10-week recovery, so mostly sedentary all day, steps have dropped from my usual 10-20,000 per day to well under 2,000 daily. I have started in the last few days some non-weight baring exercises to keep my body somewhat moving but my calorie burn is obviously way down…weight loss will be slow until I can start moving again like normal but committed to persevere!

    7/11:Β 167.4 lbs. No change on the scale from yesterday but it was a successful day none the less. Ate within my plan and seems like 5 days in, the crazy hunger of always wanting something (specifically junk) is at bay and the food noise has quieted. If nothing else, I am feeling better eating healthier!

    7/12:Β 167.6 lbs. no reasons for a real gain, just weighed in a couple hours earlier today than usual, chalking this up to normal body fluctuations. I'm eating well and, in a deficit, and finding small ways to exercise that don't impact my injury, so these are all positive changes. Change on the scale will eventually happen, right now I'll just focus on creating sustainable life choices that work for me long term.

    7/13:Β 167.7 lbs. Had a nice, relaxing day yesterday and got in two 20-minute floor workouts that were non-weight baring, ate within my calorie deficit and got to bed early. Today marks 1 week without any alcoholic beverages, which feels great! My plan is not to give up alcohol completely but I'm certainly limiting it during this weight loss journey. Thinking the 167.4 weigh in was the anomaly and this is an accurate weight for where I am today. Eventually the work being put in will be reflected on the scale.

    7/14: 166.5 lbs. There's that whoosh I've been looking for! I made a concerted effort to move more yesterday and tackled a bunch of laundry that needed to be put away and ended up decluttering and organizing my closet - that added in about an extra 1,000 steps to my day. The extra time on my feet seems okay on my injury, so will keep trying to get in a few more easy steps where I can.

    7/15: 165.5 lbs. Yesterday was my highest step count in weeks since I injured my foot, yay! So happy to see some progress in my mobility and then even better to see it reflected on the scale :) I was "influenced" yesterday to start an arm workout program I saw on TikTok, all the posts kept saying how challenging it was but that it was only 6-7 minutes, I though how challenging could that be….turns out in fact it is! It's a 14-day workout plan, on to day 2 today.

    7/10Β Β 133.0Β Β I actually had a small serving of angel hair and fresh sourdough bread. I expected the uptick to be worse.Β 

    7/11Β Β 134.0 Late salty supper? Or continued reaction to carby dinner the night before? I’ll ride the wave πŸ„β€β™€οΈ 🌊 I did something to my knee just walking in the house yesterday. I plan to go to water fitness but I’m not sure about some of the exercises.Β 

    7/12Β Β 133.5 (corrected my dates) Yesterday was a good day. My knee feels better but not perfect. Will take it easy but I think I need to make a couple of loaves of bread for friends.

    7/15 - 167.1 - Expected. I honestly expected worse. I did well with macros until after dinner. LittleBro wanted a banana smoothie and ended up ripping the stems off of ALL the bananas instead of just the two. When BF found out, he requested banana bread. I was concerned I wouldn't get a piece of it if I didn't have some fresh out of the oven, so I indulged in it, despite being out of my macros/deficit. I wasn't over maintenance, though, so that's a bonus. I have about 150 calories left and about 30g protein left in my budget for today that I'll need to figure out a snack around. Otherwise, focusing on water intake and making sure I get my steps in.

    7/10 signed up for My Fitness Pal Thursday evening.

    7/11 ---- 189.4
    7/11 went pretty well. Hit my protein target and stayed in my calorie limit. Food isn't so much the issue for me. It's the sedentary life that has me stuck. You can't out exercise a bad diet, but you can out exercise a sedentary lifestyle. That being said, I did not exercise today.

    7/12 --- 188.8
    7/12 Food was on point. I did a short workout. enjoying the newbie loss rate while I have it.

    7/13 ---- 188.2
    7/13 - Food was fine. Exceeded protein goal and stayed in my calories. The discovery of clear protein has been a game changer. It was tough to find a non-dairy one, but worth it. Weather was terrible and I had to drive in it. More storms and that had me in so much head pain at my craniotomy site. Seeing my neuro-oncologist next week, so that is on the list of things to address.

    7/14 ----187.5
    7/14 - Ate Sooooo much watermelon (over a kilo!!) but ended up not eating much else during the day because of headaches. Still hit my protein goal (thanks OWYN!) couldn't sleep becasue I was hungry and made a sandwich so ended up 200 cals over but had under eaten the other days so my calorie average is still okay, just ended up eating later than usual. I try to stop completely at 8pm. No exercise.

    7/15 - not suprised by the bump due to the amount of watermelon I ate. Could have been worse.

Surprised, yet not at that number. Not…because it's where I've been hovering forever, and yes, because I got a last-minute request yesterday to join a group of old co-workers for dinner. I did and had a great time. What I didn't immediately remember is that I had hired most of them, and at some point, they all reported to me. Funny. It was a fun get-together. So a couple of drinks and a nice burger…I expected a bump on the scale..but I did hold out most of my calories for dinner. Maybe it's the dreaded delay!

    🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 302 (my 232nd). So grateful to @Quiltingjaine to keeping this going for such a long time – thank you.

    Goals for every round;

    • First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
    • to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
    • be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end

    I need to remain consistent - it does work! I aim to lose a pound this round. Good luck for success everyone.

    7/15 142.2 – 7.22 miles walked. Meeting DSs & FFs for lunch today; they are all currently doing Slimming World so it will be easy to make sensible choice from menu. Last time we went to this place I had Cajun chicken bowl which was delicious, may choose again.

    7/16 142.6 – 10.02 miles walked. I didn’t have the cajun chicken salad bowl, the weather had dropped 10 degrees C & I w3anted something warm– jacket potato with chilli was what I ordered. Disappointed with the number, I’m3 days into a course of antibiotics for a badly infected insect bite, is that affecting the scales? I don’t know, but I’ll stick with it & trust the process.

    A little bit about me: I'm 33 years old, female, 160cm (5ft 2.5in) tall. I have a 2yo son who is so full of energy and keeps me eternally busy! I generally keep fit doing judo (although I have injured my knee right now). I have crohns and am currently working with my IBD team to try and get myself into remission (inflammation markers are down, but they are tweaking the medication to hopefully get it even lower). I weigh wearing clothes so my actual weight fluctuates a lot, but I'm more concerned about trend.

    SW: 81.2kg (May 27th) GW: 70kg UGW: 62kg

    7/10 - 81.2 - Managed to navigate the free lunch and actually ate sensibly yesterday. I did have a disappointing wrap bite that I wish I had just thrown away and had something else instead, but I didn't feel deprived with my other choices (I mean the coronation chicken sandwich I had is honestly one of the best coronation chickens I've ever had). Dinner was a disappointing pasta because I messed up cooking it. Ah well. Calories ended up under so that's a win

    7/14 - 80.9 - Weekend catchup - I was feeling really unwell over the weekend so didn't check in, very quick summery: Friday: Felt tired all day and low level nausea, but c/o was fairly okay considering, c/i was also okay. Saturday: Still low level nausea still but ate okay, judo helped with calories out (although I was only coaching). Did not sleep well and then woke up with terrible nausea (like, "I'm about to throw up" nausea) at 1am and that stayed around for an hour until it just settled to normal low level nausea and I was able to go back to sleep. Sunday: Felt awful, heavy fatigue, low level nausea, serious brain fog and headache, did not want to eat anything. Had to eat some toast to take with my medication (guess what it does if you take it on an empty stomach? More nausea! Ha!), but that's pretty much all I ate all day. In the evening my DH made me pizza which I only had a couple of slices of, although I did feel a little better afterwards (I have always felt better with nausea after eating, this is one of the reasons why, unlike the majority of crohns patients, I put on weight during a flair, and not unexpectantly lose it). Feeling a little better this morning and I had my Crohn's injection this morning, so if this is all because of a Crohn's flair I should start to feel better (I do worry that my last injection might have got desensitised while I was travelling somehow), if it's something else then that should make no difference what so ever.

    7/16 - 79.7 - Wow really? I mean yes I'm probably wearing the least weight in clothes than I have all round, even so, that's the first time it's ticked down below 80kg with clothes on for a long time. Taking this as a win deffo. Food was okay yesterday, had a salad for lunch that was actually satisfying and didn't bother eating some of my bread for dinner as I wasn't hungry for it. Leaving food if I don't want to eat it is definitely novel for me, I've spent so much time just eating the food because it's there
