1980s, a 7yr old boy, one car and a house that we couldn’t afford the payments on.
My husband quit his job and became self employed.
It was terrifying! I was working full time from home drafting and he struggled but after about a year things turned around and he was successful starting his own company.
It is a very scary thing to do but he was so miserable at his job and terribly underpaid. How badly do you want to quit?
I won’t say you should do it but if you can find another job you think you’d like better or make more money, go for it!I’ll add that when we went through this, we were in our late 20s.
I imagine it’s even scarier in your 30s, 40s.Best of luck to you!

Why do cucumbers always taste good, in drinks, cocktails and foods but when I buy a bunch put them in the fridge they quickly start to smell and make me sneeze hard ?? Why do I suddenly size up 10 inches on my belly for what my AI calls inflammation and wrong foods and build up of fluids? Why is there a walk pad next to me and dont I stand on it. Why do I wait months for nice weather to go out and walk and jog and just stay in and let the summer go by? Why does coffee not wake me up but fade me out. Why don't I continue beauty treatments if they work that good. Why do I not see a clearly weight loss in the clearly weight loss picture.. That was it.. Im good for a year .. haha

My morning walk turned into helping search for an elderly member of our community. We didn’t get the outcome we prayed for. My heart aches for her family.
Go hug your parents/grandparents.

In the 1970s there was a trend, we all wore POW/MIA bracelets of soldiers in Vietnam.
I can’t remember what happened to the one I had, wish I knew.3 -

The old man at the movies.
Went to the movies on Tuesday to go see Bad Guys and an older gentleman fell to the ground in the parking lot while he was grabbing his walker out of his car. I quickly ran to him and asked him if he was okay and all that. We got him up and kinda stayed there with him for a few minutes making sure he was okay. Got him into the theater as he still wanted to watch his movie. I payed for his ticket and I told them to keep an eye out for him when he left.
He's been on my mind since then. He was alone and he shouldn't of been driving and I really hope he has a family to keep an eye out for him because he's so delicate and he's just trying to continue to live his best life 🥺
