Now I need to work off that travel weight from the other day which is 2.6 lbs. This is just another squiggle on the graph of my journey. Nothing more, nothing less. I got this! Iβm not getting cocky, Iβm just staying positive. Letβs have a great August, my friends. Itβs ours for the taking!

Hi, Iβm Margaret. Joining this challenge for the first time. Iβm 71, live in Northern Colorado, 5β6β, 196 pounds. My day-to-day goal is to honestly log my food and drink intake; my long-term goal is to lose some weight and feel more in control.

Majestic August. Finished July a pound heavier but did step on the scale everyday. Some positive takeaways with the highlight a great group of members trying to be supportive to others as we attain a healthier version of ourselves. Bravo to all.

I made it through yesterday with the grade of a B- and I will try hard to make it through today. I must remember portion control when I feel like Iβm starving!

Margaret here again. I just realized this challenge includes daily weigh-ins in addition to daily logging. Iβm not a daily weigher (weekly for me), so Iβll be leaving this particular challenge. Good health to all of you!

βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ 08/04-186.6 β (Trend Weight: 187.7) I am patting myself on the back a bit for how well I did yesterday, even with everyone here. While they ate pizza, cookies and other snacks washed down with sodas, I ate avocado toast and sipped on chicken broth. It was a strong day and came pretty easy to me. Not all days are that easy unfortunately. I was hoping scale would be down a bit more as I also managed to get some exercise bike in after everyone left last night. But Iβm happy for any progress. I still havenβt got all the weight off from my one lousy day of travel. My how slow it drops!
