Either a side salad or whatever vegetable I have in the house at the time. Doesn't really matter, it's all good
  • thanks for doing this...I love my crockpot, but I feel like we make the same 2 recipes in it every time!

I made this last night and it was amazing and one of the easiest meals I've ever made. It was a big hit with the family. :) I served it over brown rice with some low fat shredded cheese on top.
    I got it from www.skinnytaste.com

    Bump....

It's getting to be crock pot season (Fall and soccer practice until 6:30 two nights a week and a swim meet every Wednesday until late!)

Would love the sodium info on more of these recipes (some of them seem like they'd be high!).

Thanks for posting these...I've been "afraid" to use my crock pot.

  • Forgive me if I'm being redundant (haven't scrolled through all the pages to see if anyone posted this) but you can get basic calories, etc. from plugging any of these recipes into the MFP recipe calculator!

I made pineapple chicken yesterday from a recipe I foudn on here :) I dont knwo the nutrition but.. I used 2 lg chicken breasts, 1 can diced pineapples drained, 1/4 cup light soy sauce and about a tablespoon of crushed peppers :) Cooked it on high for 4 hours and the chicken fell apart it was soo yummy and I had it with rice

I'm actually making that same thing tomorrow =) I also love my crock pot but I haven't really taken advantage of it to it's fullest yet. I can't wait for fall to really kick in here in Florida (so in like February...lol) so I can start making some stews and other colder weather meals.
