i eat back my burn, and i (in theory) have a goal of 1250 calories, but usually actually eat (with burn and everything) about 17001

I'm 40, 196 lbs, allowed 1210 cal and sometimes eat my burned calories sometimes I don't...0
-
1600 net, so yes, I eat my exercise calories.0
-
I'm 22 and I allow myself 1500 but I usually eat about 1250 to 1350. I don't eat back my exercise cals.1

I usually eat between 1200 and 1500 cals a day. Whether I eat back what I burned that day or not usually just depends on how I feel. If I am hungry and it's not too late at night, I do. If I am not hungry, I don't.0

If I had my goal set to lose 2 pounds/week, I would probably extinct. I'm 29, 131lbs and 5'6''. My goal is set to 1200, which is maybe half a pound per week and I eat back only part of my exercise calories. I try not to have a deficit daily from the goal more than 200 calories. I still lost weight.0

1200 cals but I usually eat 1400-1500 cals per day (so 200-300 exercise cals that I eat back)1
-
1200 a day but sometimes - like tonight - I eat up to 1800 :P I gather it won't hurt too much once a week. We all need a break every once in a while.1

Im 22, allowed 1240 cal and I NEVER eat back my exercise cals.0

I'm 52yrs old, 5'7"....my daily allowed intake is 1400 cals. I don't eat my burned back,
and most of the time I don't eat all of my 1400 cals. I'm training for a sprint tri and
try to eat lean protein, veggies and complex carbs.
Good Luck with your plan!0 -
I'm 31, 198 pounds and I'm on 1600 a day right now as I lose weight that will decrease0

I am 55, 5'4", weigh 155 and eat 1,200 calories a day, on average, which is my suggested MFP calorie goal. I sometimes eat a portion of my exercise calories, but try not to eat more than half of them.0

I'm 121lb, small boned, 51yo, and I'm eating 1000-1100 cal/day. I always eat all of my exercise calories. I'm about to my goal and not losing much anymore.1

1600 calories/120g carbs daily under the care of an Endocrinologist.
Any exercise-food calories earned - it really depends on whether or not Im actually hungry... .If I am, I will have a protein smoothie using Designer Whey, if not, I usually fill up on water...0 -
My base calorie goal is 1720, but I usually end up eating between 2000-2100 after my exercise calories are added in. I would die if my calorie goal was 1200! LOL2

I'm 178 lbs and 5'11". I net between 1800-2000 calories a day and I eat anywhere between 2,000-2,600 calories a day. I eat back all of my exercise calories.1
-
My goal is 1200 but when you add back in the exercise calories I can go up to at least 1800 on any given day. I usually stay around1250-1400.0

I was netting 2000 calories a day and losing about a half pound a week, so yeah, eating exercise calories.
Now I'm kind of trying to maintain but not really trying to hard (eating more, often) and I'm not sure what my maintenance level is...0 -
1,220 and I can't wait to exercise so I can eat more.1
-
I'm 29, 143lbs and my calorie goal is set at 1200. I usually eat back most of my exercise calories, depending on how hungry I am.1

I'm 33, and my base (counting breastfeeding) is 1340 daily. I absolutely eat my calories back, I'm the type that loves working out, and would MUCH rather work out and be able to eat more than sit around but eat less. It's working great for me!1
-
I thought 1200 cals would be hard, but it is totally doable and I get plenty to eat.0
-
1200 but I eat back most if not all of my exercise calories every day. So it can range from 1200 up to around 1800. I average about 1600 a day though since on a normal day I burn about 400.1

All these numbers show me that it depends on each individual. I am glad you all are getting results. I have been too. For those who eat back calories, do you lose the same amount as if you didn't?1

I'm 5 foot 7, eat 1200 calories, and eat back once a week and allow myself going over by 100 or so once or twice a week, depending on my mood. I still have about 13 pounds to go, but suspect as I get closer, I'll eat back more as I gradually learn to go into maintenance. But I rarely eat back my weakness foods or I would never stop.0

Well I used to eat 1200-1300 until I stopped losing so that's the only reason I increased my intake to 1600. Eating the exercise calories back is what helps me reach my protein goal of 100-120 grams as protein is very important if you're working out/doing strength training. To be honest, I'd probably lose more if I didn't eat them back, but it'd probably be a lot from my muscle and I already lost some of my muscle my first 5 or so months of eating low cals without exercise so I don't want to make that mistake again.1 -
I'm 5'8", 139lbs eating at maintenance. 1740 base and I eat back all of my exercise calories so it usually varies between 1900-2100.1

I'm 30 and 138lbs. MFP did give me a 1200 cal daily total which I have stuck to for 5 months while I have lost my weight. For the last few weeks I'd not lost any weight and wasn't happy that my body hadn't really changed, only shrunk, so this week just gone I started a new eating plan from the New Rules of Lifting for Women and am now eating between 1600/1900 cals a day. I lost 1lb straight away before starting the exercise. I try to eat back my exercise calories as much as I can but if I'm just not hungry I'm not hungry. As long as I hit my weekly target its all good0
