Go eat girl! Its not good to let yourself get too hungry!
The only problem is that I work four hours without any breaks, and have a small one before my shift too. So by the time I got out and went grocery shopping I hadn't eaten in seven hours and that just failed.
Bright side, I got a gigantic burrito for a dollar today. But now my eyes burn and I have to go learn photosynthesis and cellular respiration for my exam tomorrow. Ugh.0 -
Congrats prefects!!
Checking in for Tuesday - back to work after a week off. I ate well enough.. for dinner I made rice, veggies (greens!), and 2oz of grilled chicken for a non fried stirfry. It was delicious and light, a great dinner before some hot yoga.0 -

Yay! Congrats to our prefects, Desj16 and sundancer1966!!
Glad to see everyone's doing so well! Battling out as much as I can during the last half of the week so that I don't end up in a gain. Still hate working out, but it's slooooowly getting better.
Loving hearing all the awesome news from others, though. Thank you all for helping me to keep on track. If it weren't for this group, I don't know if I would have stuck with it near as well.0 -
wasn't stuck at work as late as i had feared yesterday. i got out in time to go to the gym. i'm noticing that i am working as hard as always but not burning as many calories. guess i need to step up my intensity but honestly not sure if i can :ohwell:
hope everyone has a great day. :bigsmile:0 -

Hi Ravenclaws
I can't believe I made PREFECT!!! Thanks everyone for the congrats!! I will mail Sue my food challenge in a couple minutes, this has made my day!!0 -
Also I went to lululemon and tried on a ta-ta tamer because I was really interested in them. I like it but GAWD 55 bucks for a sports bra. Arrrgh. Unfortuantely it seems like unless I fork up some extra cash I'm going to have a hard time getting something that handles 34 D's well.
I'm 36D and I find the Champion sports bras from Target work pretty well. TMI ALERT- I go for my run in the morning after only nursing Ava on one side (the right) which makes me a very very full D on the left- normal D on the right. I run and don't have any problem (5 miles/45 minutes: a 9 minute mile). They are also reasonably priced- under $30.

Wednesday is my no-free-time day, I am at work by 7:30 and in class from 4pm-10pm! I did get greens in for lunch and have more for lunch today. I will be exercising tonight and will push for that 30 minutes extra. I am feeling good and my pants aren't feeling tight anymore! LOVE IT!0

Good Morning!!
Today was the last offical day of TurboFire for me, it is a scheduled rest day, but I could not stand the idea of not getting my cardio in, and since I can't go to the park tonight I did Plyo X. Man, that was hard, but TurboFire def prepared me. I am starting to feel out of sorts with no workout calendar to follow tomorrow- Sunday. Monday I start Chalene Extreme!
Hope everyone is doing well. Yesterday, I earned 4 owls, 2 excercise, 1 food and 1 spirit.
Have a great day!0 -
Checking in and hoping everyone's having a great day and getting that extra exercise time in! :bigsmile:0

RAVENCLAW OCTOBER WEEK 3 CHALLENGES
******************************************************
EXERCISE OWL: Parking!
Every time you need to park your vehicle, park as far away from your destination as is feasibly possible. If you pull up to the grocery store, park at the back of the lot. If you park in a garage, go to the top floor and take the stairs down! If you park on the street, park a few blocks away. If you aren't a driver, then take a longer route than you normally would when walking / riding a bike.
1 OWL per day for parking further away than you normally would (or taking a longer route).
FOOD OWL: Whole Grains!
Eat some kind of whole grain food at least once a day. This could be like Ezekiel bread, or Quinoa or anywhole grain, no flower product.
1 OWL per day for eating whole grains.
Have a great day everyone!0 -
The upcoming challenges look like fun!
Though I'm thinking I'm also kind of happy I went to Costco this week.0 -
hi everyone. i am loving this weeks greens challenge!! i had forgotten how much i like spinach!! really tired yesterday and took a rest day. gotta get a workout in yet tonight but i got extras in the other days this week. next weeks challenges sound fun also. question...does brown rice count as a whole grain, or just bread type products?0
-
Got my greens in yseterday but today is not looking good!
No excerise yesterday either as it was TOO HOT but I will do it today for sure.
at least I came to say hi though.
We should have some kind of ravenclaw-y activity for next week! Like we can all share at least one diet/fitness article or tip or we can discuss one that someone else has posted. Because, knowledge!0 -

Funny you should mention that because I came across a website that I wanted to share with everyone. Have to do homework now but will post something about it this weekend. Thanks for the suggestion!0 -
Good morning Ravenclaws! I'm doing the best I can with this weeks challenges, but I'm REALLY looking forward to next weeks challenges I've been doing an extra fifteen this week as often as I can in the form of some yoga (which was one of my challenges for my Twilight group lol). I've had some spinach and turnip greens and purple cabbage this week, going to have some brussel sprouts this morning (Pretty sure those qualify as greens??). Anyways, one more night of work, and of course they decided to make it an eating night (potluck). So unlike last time where I cheated and beat myself up over it, I'm going to make healthier, lower calorie versions for myself. Happy Friday!!! :flowerforyou:0

Ugg- getting into a slump- I can feel it. It started last week when it was my birthday and I had a few "free" days. I stopped logging and it has carried on from there. Didn't run yesterday OR today (which is unheard of from me- I've not taken more than 1 day off since June). I just need to kick my own A**. Feeling sluggish, fat, lazy, you name it!

Pushed myself to do an extra 15 minutes last night. I usually stop at 2 miles when I use the treadmill (and I have improved there, 2 miles in 25 minutes!) but I pushed myself to go an extra 15 minutes and got in another mile.
Tonight will probably be a 30 Day Shred / treadmill night. Hoping to do some Yoga this weekend.0 -
Weighing in at 141.3
Didn't do to well with spirit this week +3
exercise+6
greens+3
and 795 house points
I think I missed posting my October goal but it is 1350 -
Spirity post...but I don't have much to say.0
