OK, I did it. Largely because I need to keep up with you guys so I'm glad I joined the challenge (I think). Level 2 day 2 complete! Everything hurts!0

how was level 2 ladies?? it was killer for me yesterday!! back to level 1 day 9 today for me..arms are like jello. one more double up day tommorow and i will be back on track.0

Took a break yesterday as my calves were in agony (too much jumping around doing aerobics the day before). Today, 3rd day of level 3, not pushing too hard, pretty sure I'm enjoying it. Went and did Tae Kwondo after. This time four months ago I never would have believed I might like doing cardio and strength so much.
*remembers level 2* yes, level 2 is where I started yelling at the screen. It gets better I promise (although right through to the very end I still didn't do all of the plank cardio, faaaaark!)
Those of you taking on multiple days worth, I salute you. Just don't forget to stretch.0 -

I found everyone!!! So I'm a couple days behind due to a little one being sick, but I'm back at it!! Today I'll do L1D9 and continue to progress from there. I think I'll double up tomorrow because I have Zumba tonight. Hope everyone is well0

First day of level 2 just completed. I HATE all the plank stuff - my wrists do anyway! This level makes me red and sweaty way more than level 1!! I would say don't try to follow Natalie for the whole thing And what are those plank twists about at the end? No way I can get my body to twist that much!!

Hips: 51 47.5 -3.5 inches (not sure I measured right)
Bust: 47 45.5 -1.5 inches (does this seem like too much?)

Should I have lost 7 inches in the first week?
You definitely measured your hips wrong. You were one of the few people with hips bigger than mine so yours can't be smaller now. I am totally supportive of you losing weight everywhere else but i gotta draw the line somewhere!0 -

During level 3 today I was thinking this isn't so bad as the sweat was pouring off me. I think level 3 is harder but during it, it feels better than level 2. I am rotating through levels because I get bored of doing the same one more than 1 day in a row.0 -

She's crazy. I'm serious. Someone should really do a background check on Jillian. I just powered out completely. My 13-year-old was just staring at me and my 8-year-old kept saying, "Are you okay?" My 10-year-old was just trying to say "Hi Mommy" and I couldn't even respond.

I think today was day 7 of Level one for me.. If I wrote it write on my personal spreadsheet right.. I started Level Two the other morning but only got little into it.. I am scared and the comments from you all is not helping my fear. :laugh:0

I thought the other thread had gone quiet... here you all are!
I'm dreading starting level2 now I've heard all your tales.. level 1 is bad enough !!! I was really feeling it in my lower back and knees yesterday so will probly leave todays shred until much, much later. I tore a muscle in my hip/bum last year and dont want to aggravate it more than I should, so am gonna maybe do just a half job today?? will see how I am... maybe I should do 2 x half jobs? LOL
I'm also losing count of what day Im on... I think I've done L1D7or 8? so I'm gonna carry on doing L1 till Friday and start L2 on Saturday that way I should catch up with meself (and avoid starting L2 a bit longer!!)

I just did my level 2 day 1 JM because I gave yesterday off to myself. There's an extra day in this month so if I finish a day late so be it.
Good god.. I'm just sitting here going wth did I just put myself through?!!!
I'm gunna go take a nice long soak now.

Hello All
Just wanted to let you know that Iv'e had to stop the 30 day shred... I had abdominal surgery 4 weeks ago and I really thought I was good to go with this..... but then the nausea started and then the throwing up so unfortunately I have to throw in the towel....
If it's still ok with you I would like to continue checking in each week and follow the mini challenges.. I'm really disappointed as I was feeling soooooo strong about this. But at least I know what I am in for when I start again on November 1st,
Congrats on all the hard work you guys are putting in and kick Jillians butt for me!!!

And lucky us, we get to do it again today! Woohoo! That very last strength exercise about killed me. I woke up this morning stiff and sore from my neck down to my elbows. lol0 -
Level 2 day 3 done. Every time at the beginning Jillian says "all you badasses" and I think for a second she says "all you fatasses" and then think "geez Jillian, who peed in your cheerios this morning?"0

Level 2 day 1... 10 minutes or so in.. Om MY!!! Going to try again today.. Or go back to day one. Debating. It is that time of the month and I never have full strength.. (actually I have extremely bad periods) yeah going to chalk it up to that and not be being so out of shape. hehehehe0

Hey shredders!
It's day 3 of my neck/shoulder misery and it's finally on the mend! I'm on some strong painkillers and I managed 30 minutes on the cross trainer today, woohoo!! It was a feeble 30 minutes though, I actually felt weak despite only having 2 days off exercise and my HRM says I burned about 60 less calories than usual. But it's a big improvement, so I'm hoping to be back with you soon!
Sorry to hear you're having to drop out Boncharlie, but you've got to listen to your body. Hope you feel etter soon0
