Hi everyone. In light of some of the things that are going on here, I don't think it's best that I continue on this challenge. Last week, I said that I was dieting and exercising a lot. And it took a while for me to realize that I was in the beginning stages of anorexia. I was obsessive about exercise, weighing myself daily, keeping my caloric intake under 600. I started feeling dizzy all the time, my TOTM has been late for the past two weeks (and as someone who does not have to worry about pregnancy, that's a bit odd). My father and my best friend are currently worried about my eating habits because I'm in a different country and they cannot monitor my behavior.
I've been eating back some of the exercise calories, keeping up the 1200 calories required for my body to function. I'm back at 120.2, and I think that if I'm going to lose any more weight, I'm going to need to do it gradually. And I cannot do that if I'm part of a challenge. I need to make sure I'm doing this the healthy way.
But thank you all so much for beign a supportive board. I think it's fabulous that you stand by each other. I wish all of you the best in your goals, and I beg you to not go about it the way I did.0 -

I actually did see the 170's for a fleeting second this AM. The first time I stepped on my scale it said 179.8, but when I stepped on it a second time it said 180.0. So....I'm going with 180.0 for my weigh-in. But I'll be there in the 170's this week for sure!
BTW....had a great time in Lancaster County PA shopping with my mom this weekend. A grandchildren free weekend for the first time in a loooooonnnnngggg time! For those that aren't familiar with Lancaster County, PA.....that's where a big population of Amish live....and they have some of the best shops there. Lots of country/folk art/primitive stores and lots of outlets. Love it!
Also......so glad the scale was down this AM after what I ate this weekend. I tried my best to make good food choices, and I guess I did for the most part.....but among everything I did eat, I enjoyed a big crock of French onion soup with all the croutons and cheese yesterday with our late lunch (so good!), and a big piece of "to-die-for" tiramisu for dessert on Saturday.
I already see posts here for this week reporting more weight loss. Woo hoo! Best part....we still have lots of weeks to go til the end of the challenge, so everyone can still make their goal! Let's do it! Have a great week Hubbas!

Stayed the same but no surprise there. Had a rough week with eating, TOM, and being extremely busy with my kids and life in general. But back on track this week so hopefully will see a loss next week. Although that isn't a given since it's been a steady 5 weeks or so of 2 pounds lost each week up until now. That's unusual for me at this point in my weight loss. Good luck everyone! Have a fabulous week!0 -

Thank you for your honesty. I really hope the best for you. We'd like you to stay, if you change your mind. Even though we have highlighted "losers", it is really about having a place to be accountable so that we stay on the right road toward our goals. I'm so glad that you realized that you were heading down a wrong road and have corrected that.0 -
Well, it's ugly, but I refuse to quit. My inability to say no, combined with Catholic Guilt has me doing for everyone else but me. And the result is a grotesque gain! (TOM arrived this AM, so I will hope that some of it is water retention, but know that I have not been exercising nor eating right.)

Going to give my weight for Sunday. We ate out at the Mandarin Sunday night
(Chinese Buffet) so when I weighed this morning I was up, mostly sodium but
any way please take my weight for Sunday.
174.4
Nicole: You are doing the right thing, we will miss you. We have a family
member going through the same thing right now and she is only 15. It is a daily
struggle. Good Luck and get better.0 -
I need some advice and encouragement. I feel like I've lost my motivation to exercise the past couple weeks. I still watch what I eat and stay under, but I've went from working out 5 or 6 days a week, to maybe 1. College has been extremely stressful lately with midterms and other tests. Any advice on how to get my motivation back? Or some new, fun exercises to try?
Thanks! & Keep up the AMAZING work everyone!
I'm not sure what your normal routine is but a quick fun thing I do sometimes is grab a deck of cards and for each suit diamonds, club, hearts, and spades make up a workout you can do within your fitness level some ex. pushups, jumping jacks, crunches etc. then shuffle the deck place face down and draw a card for that number do that amount of that particular exercise you can start out with say 20-25 cards or how ever many your time permit at least you will have gotten something in even if you only had time for 10 cards!! A nice refreshing walk is always good to clear your head!!
I hope this help and we are behind you get back on the wagon...........We all fall down but the good thing is we get back up!!0 -

I think we are all guilty of not taking care of ourselves first and I finally had to get selfish because if I don't take care of number one how will I be around to take care of everyone else.....It's not bad to take care of ourselves first then take care of the rest of the gang get back focus on you and all the others will take their place in line you deserve it and your love ones should understand. Your health and fitness is most important!!0 -
