kristen, i took your recommedation and decided to weigh myself today, gain a pound(though i kept in the green numbers for the most part and walked like crazy(average 10-11miles)once again i prove that if i dont eat well i will put on the weight....i will give myself the week before changing my ticker, maybe its water weight...LOL!!!!good luck all0 -
Ugh, a weekend of bad eating and your weight goes up.. who woulda guessed? LOL On the good news column, my treadmill should arrive today- hopefully we'll have time to go pick it up tonight. We also got an offer of some free moose meat yesterday at church, so have to find time to go grab that too. Yesterday was a church potluck (Alaska theme) and it was really good- the highlight was Black Bear stew, completely delicious, too bad it all contributed to my bump in weight this week!
Gr8grl68- all those little losses add up, congrats!
Chelsea- good job not freaking out about your bump in weight, just keep going, you're doing great!
CricketKate- I'm with you, SO happy to not seeing 150something on the scale anymore, even holding steady in the 149 range is a victory for now!

Well, just sort of right where I started but it's because I have not posted/exercised/made good food choices consistently. It's so hard to do the things I need to do! It's never going to be a convenient or easy time to do them. Accept and move on, and do it anyway!!! That is my motto for this week. Good luck this week everyone!!0 -
I guess they weren't kidding when they said the last 10 lbs are hard to lose. Although my scale weight hasn't changed, my body fat % has dropped slightly and I've lost 2 inches since my weight last changed... so good things are happening.

Okay! Finally some progress! I have dusted off last weeks pity party and sent it packing a long with a few pounds that I no longer wanted to carry. I was very diligent about kicking the simple carbs out of my diet last week because I knew I needed a bit of a boost to get this going in the right direction!
Keep it up everyone, we can do it!:flowerforyou:0 -
gmomlyn - Good luck toward the 170s this week! Yay for tasty food (and great food choices) and fun shopping!
AmyByExample - You are still at a loss, overall. You can get lower/smaller! We are here to help!
vallejos6 - Yay for your treadmill today!
Jelybe - Loved your post! :-)
Niveous - I'm sorry that your scale just doesn't want to budge. I'm glad that you are still working towards your goal and losing inches in the process!
Bearface115 - Try fixing your diet. If the scale still isn't cooperating, your muscles might still be holding on to water since you've been working them so much lately (with your trainer)!
LadyPersia & Scarlettdawn764 - Congrats on getting into the 130s! I can't wait to join both of you!
jek002 - Congrats on getting into the 140s! It's nice to see you here again, also!
AbbyGrl72 - Congrats on being in the last "decade" of the 200s! Before you know it, you'll be in ONEderland!
I know I wrote it before but... Congrats to jllipson for getting into ONDERLAND!!0 -
Hi KC! Got your message...I would love to come back to the group. Was having a really hard time earlier with lots of stress, but now I think I've got that sorted out and have kicked myself in the *kitten*.
My weight last week was 266.4 and today was 263.8.0 -

For those of you who are wondering about this... nekosimba and I became friends on MFP after Hubba Hubba started. She got cut, awhile back, off of the list. I have noticed that she's been doing really great lately with her food and exercise so I extended her the invitation to come back. If you have a friend that was cut, and you've noticed the same thing, feel free to have them message me if they'd like to try again. We still have plenty of weeks left for us to have success!0 -

I just realized I missed my weigh in last week. I stayed the same again this week. I am actually pretty proud of that one because I hurt my knee so I haven't been walking like I had been. I think I'm going to start boxing in my Wii so I have at least something. Anyone have other ideas for exercising that wouldn't involve my knee?

Sorry I'm late. Huge gain this week but I think I'm retaining. Just got back from a camping trip yesterday. I thought I might make my mini goal next week but it looks unlikely now. I need to really buckle down this week.0 -

Congrats to Jelybe, kcthatsme, nekosimba, Scarlettdawn764, annehdavis, and gmomlyn for being this week's biggest losers!
Congratulations to gmomlyn for being our overall biggest loser in pounds and percent!!
Jelybe - As this week's biggest loser in pounds, would you please give us our next mini challenge?
P.S. ysamatar posted a weigh in of 167.8 - Sorry I missed it. :-(0 -
Congrats to the biggest losers Jelybe, kcthatsme, nekosimba, Scarlettdawn764, annehdavis, and gmomlyn this week!
Somehow I am gonna have to lose 6 pounds this week. I am gonna try extra hard to eat well and exercise lots! Even if I don't make it this week it is okay! Also going to try and stick to water only. What are your goals for this week?0 -
YAY!!! I'm so excited to be a big loser!
I'm going to give options for the mini challenge...
Choice A.) Pick that one thing that's been on your to-do list forever. You know? That thing you have been procrastinating on and it's been in the back of your mind, nagging at you? That thing. Do it. You have an entire week! You can do it!
ChoiceAdd 50 more calories burned to your exercise routine. OR, strike 50 calories from your daily intake. If you have trouble eating enough calories, add 50 calories to your daily intake.
I'm going to do both. For A, I am going to update my pricing for my portrait photography business, and for B, I am going to add an additional 50 calories burned per day.
Have a great week everyone! I look forward to hearing about your successful mini challenges!
:flowerforyou:
~Jen
Edited to add: Challenge A is because I believe those mental blocks, like things hovering on our to-do list for instance, keeps us from moving forward and acheiving our goals. It's a mental weight. So I'm hoping to help at least one person feel a little lighter as it pertains to our daily tasks. :flowerforyou:0 -
