On our tenth wedding anniversary - on holiday in Greece - my ex husband told me that I was the fat ***** that was making his life hell!

    No wonder he's your ex!

That whole love in sickness and in health, love in the good times and bad or whatever the vows are apparently doesn't even go skin deep..

oh and my friend who lost weight wanted to donate her fat clothes to me when I gained weight!! lol...now I wear a size 8 (US 6) and she wears a size 12 booooYA!

My friend who pulled that? I don't care if she's now fat or thin, I don't have her fat pants and she doesn't have me as a friend.
  • Since I was asked, I have to say that: NO my grandfather did not say anything about my weight this Thanksgiving. He didn't say anything to me all day as a matter of fact. Ah well, his loss. You can't fix the jerks of the world, but you can sure show them up!!

Sophomore year of high school my gym teacher told me and another girl that we were going to die of heart attacks if we didn't do something about our weight.

In 8th grade a substitue gym teacher Moo'ed like a cow at me and two of my friends whenever one of us were up to the plate during kickball.

Last year (I am 32 now, BTW) I was having terrible pain in my knee and went to see a specialist. He walked in, didn't even touch my knee, told me I was overweight. He then asked if I had ever even tried to lose weight, and had I ever thought of having gastric bypass. I told him that I had lost 150 pounds a few years before that. He told me to do it again. When I told him at the time I was walking 3 miles a day, 30 minutes of cardio, etc. and how could I do that with this knee pain? He told me there was nothing he could do for me, I needed to lose weight, and that no knee surgeon would touch me to do a surgery unless I lost weight.
  • My ex would often ask me if there was enough room in the tub when I would take a bath. He would also ask me if I made sure to get clean everywhere because he knows fat people have a hard time staying clean!
Notice that he is an ex!

these stories made me really sad :(

When i studied abroad in high school, my host family said i was too skinny and forced me to gain weight. When I gained weight they followed me around calling me fat.
Of course, these same people asked me (15), "Why do you have acne? Get rid of it!" and they "adopted" (got rid of her now) a little girl, and would have her call me ugly when I went up and down the stairs...:(

Ive mainly gotten insults about my face though...which is partially why I am losing...I hope it makes my face better...I remember when I was 11 or 12 at a friends going-away party, we were going swimming. One of my friends (ex now) said, "Your body is really nice. It's a shame about your face though. If only we could cut off your head and replace it with someone else's."

^^ there is a lot more, but mainly just concerning my head (hair, skin, teeth, nose, face shape)

Usually nothing nearly as bad as the stuff I used to tell myself.

I don't get that at all. You look quite lovely in your profile picture. I guess some people aren't happy unless they have a 'mean on.'
