    1. Get up before 8 am...(i know I'll keep trying until I get it.)

    Well, once again, I did not get up until after 8 am...grrr...my hubby and best friend say it's a mind over matter thing...and it must be...i guess...I mean I get up at 7:30ish to use the bathroom and have a smoke...so why can't i just stay up????
    I did drink 60 ounces of water - actually more...and instead of a workout on the wii fit, i went to the gym and did the Arc trainer for 30 minutes...

    tomorrow
    1. 9:00 to the gym for workout with coach
    2. drink 64 ounces of water
    3. do something fun!

    Hi it's me. sorry I haven't put up any goals but I was in Laughlin on a mini-trip. I am glad to report though that I did excellent on my calorie goals. I was fair on my water....did not drink but one Coke Zero. I did not have any alcoholic drinks while gambling...asked for water only. I was so determined to stay focused that I left Laughling each day and drove to the Bullhead City Library to log my food everyday. I ate at the Riverside Buffet 3 times and never had a desert. I ate salad, salad and baked chicken with vegetables. I am very pleased and can't wait to weigh in the morning.

    Goals for Sat. 12-17
    1. Drink my 64 ounces of water (hope for more)
    2. Find my 2009 tax statements....a must
    3. Put up some Christmas decorations

    December 16
    Fasting this morning for blood work, didn't really get on computer. Here are my goals for today

    1. 10-12 glasses of water=Done
    2. Fruits and veggies- 5-7 servings= great salad for dinner helped!
    3. Eat dinner!= actually had real food!

    So while yesterday was hard on the food diary, because of fast, I did make really wise choices when I did get to eat, so am proud of that! The plan needs to be followed in spite of trip home to MD. I have got to get in those veggies.

    MandieO- What time are you going to bed? Just asking...had a girlfriend that I never planned anything in the AM with cause she was nocturnal. Not great for doing things, but that is when she operated best. I have to have 8-9 hours a night or a tend to crash.

    Mvkrayola- The trip sounds wonderful and you did a great job on choices. I hope your weigh in is great this morning.

    Purplecookie- I hope you feel good about those finals!

    AmyinMD- Sounds like you have a plan for the Christmas party! Remember to drink your water too! Keep up the work with the spirometer.

    Denise- Sugars are so hard to avoid this time of year. My husband is the worst at buying what I am avoiding. He is a big kid. I did get lucky at the shop and my favorite cookies were all gone the first day, so at least I can avoid the rest. Has me rethinking my cookie baking for Christmas!

    Man it's been a bad couple of days.

  • MandieO- What time are you going to bed? Just asking...had a girlfriend that I never planned anything in the AM with cause she was nocturnal. Not great for doing things, but that is when she operated best. I have to have 8-9 hours a night or a tend to crash.

    I generally go to bed on weeknights before 10 pm...usually between 9 and 9:30pm. There really is no reason I shouldn't be able to get up in the morning...I just wonder if I'm in the middle of a sleep cycle when I am trying to get up at 7am...who knows....

    Well as for my goals today...hmmm...I made it to the gym...coach kicked my butt again!!! we got through the workout and then he tells me ok..we're going to do it all again!!! I just about ran out of there...but the second time around it was a little easier actually...so i guess he knows what he's doing....that's why he's the coach...not me...LOL.

    I didn't quite make it with the water today...no reason why...just didn't get to it...

    But i did do something fun...bought some water soluble oil paints and tried them out.

    Goals for tomorrow...

    1) work out for at least 30 minutes at the gym or walk with hubby
    2) drink 64 oz of water
    3) write in my journal

    My goals for Sat 17 Dec were:
    1. Survive work (it is crazy season and weekends are the worst. The work is great but it is exhausting at this time of year!!)
    2. Stay within my calorie budget
    3. Read the articles my friend dropped off for me (I need info to answer some questions at work...)

    1. Success! Exhausted at the end of the day, but got to play with the cute little seal a couple of times which was an extra bonus!!
    2. Success.
    3. Not yet, no free time at work and no energy to take work home with me...

    Sunday is almost half finished already so I will set goals for Monday 19 Dec:
    1. Survive work and get everything done - weekdays mean more staff than weekends but after a long weekend like this I am just tired and have a list of priorities to get through!
    2. Stay within my calorie budget.

    Friday was NOT a good day but Saturday I was back on track. I just need to stay focused and not let the mindless eating start.

    Well I worked hard on number 2 but no luck yet. Missed the water and decorations so Sunday will be a repeat for me looking for that success.

    For Monday:

    1. Cook something healthy my family will actually eat
    2. Stay under my calories.... don't eat more than half of my exercise calories
    3. Burn 1000 calories at the gym

    Not a bad Sunday! I may regret it later as I never even made it out of house! I am going to call it a recoup weekend. I read, relaxed, and in between managed to clean house. Last week before Christmas

    3. paper work sorted for work

    Ultimately I need to have all my work stuffs caught up before the holidays, so I am not stressing those few days before New Year! Have a wonderful day Ladies!!!!

    Good Morning All!

    Updates:

    Workouts are a little off this weekend missed a day.
    WATER was off yesterday all weekend so back on track this week!
    My numbers were great I ate little or nothing over the weekend

    I really want out of the 180's by the end of the year so a hard push for the next two weeks is going to be my goal! I am right there at the last three pounds so I just really want it off! So hopefully a great week!

    BACK ON MONDAY AN BACK ON TRACK! :flowerforyou:

    December Goals will remain the same all month.....

    1. Workout Schedule consisting to no less than 5 workouts a week. If I get more that is a plus!
    2. WATER WATER and more WATER! The life juice....12 or more glasses a day :drinker:
    3. Calorie and CARB count under required daily allotments (HARD FOR THIS SEASON)
    4. LOG IT ALL! ADMIT WHAT I PUT IN MY MOUTH TO MYSELF!

    YEAH!! I found my 2009 tax statements and I drank all my water.

    2. Take care of my 2009 tax statements....a must
    3. I am substitute teaching today...so I will be tired and hope to get my kitchen cleaned up

    Remember God does not want us to stress out for Christmas...He wants us to enjoy and celebrate our greatest gift ever...Jesus! Have a good day. Congrats to all those who are having success with their goals and keep trying for those who are struggling. To set goals is a great start and always working toward something.

    Well I made it to the gym and worked out for 30 minutes!
    I definitely drank at least 64 ounces of water...
    but I didn't quite complete an assessment...not writing it up anyway...I did do two assessment interviews...which take about an hour and half each so that ate a big part of my day...


    Goals for tomorrow...

    1) get up by 7:30 am - up and out of the bed!!!
    2) drink 64 ounces or more of water
    3) complete writing up assessment from today and turn in for authorization
    4) gym at 4:30 pm to meet with fit coach...and workout!

  • I am just starting back! Had a tough year. I proved to myself once again that I am an emotional eater and I have lost control. Time to take back my life!

    My goals
    1. to log in and use all tools. Making sure to write down EVERYTHING that I eat!
    2. to exercise for 1 hour per day
    3. to drink my 10 glasses of water

    Back on workout track yesterday was baseline assesment and I am up to 33 boy pushups in a minute!
    WATER was back up yesterday using green tea with two sweetners to push it through as well
    My numbers were better on yesterday HEY GUYS I FOUND OUT SALSA IS ONLY 10 CALORIES A TABLESPOON! A great snack with crackers or even a few whole grain or baked chips!

    I am still pushing to get out of the 180's this month! Tips are welcome!

    mvkrayola--I glad you found your tax return. :smile: I had that problem a few years ago and now I do them online and keep an additional copy on a usb drive kept just for them!

    lstnlondry--glad to see you! :flowerforyou: It's a busy time of year for most of us, I think!

    MandiO--good job drinking the water! :drinker: I don't do well with that in the colder weather!

    arodriguez2 and ambraroberts--Welcome! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: I also struggle with emotional eating (which includes eating because I'm bored!) and lack of motivation. I continually have to remind myself that I CAN do this and that messing up does NOT mean failure!

    Shanae--WTG on the boy pushups! :drinker: I am impressed! Salsa IS a good snack. I love it! (When you have time--yeah, right!--it's fairly easy to make your own, too!)

    Oh my, the only goal I achieved was 1 dogwalk! If I didn't have my dog I would have done nothing!

    1. TO GET A HANDLE ON AFTER HOURS EATING.(can I say that any louder?)

    3. try not to dump my boo hoos on my husband

    SO far met 2 of 3 goals! I feel so good! 1 hour on the treadmill. Eating is on track and half way through my water goal! I think this is the way to accomplish my long term goals! Thank you for starting this!

    Extra goals today will include
    1. positive affirmations....I love myself , deserve the time for me, and I am worth more!
    2. logging in later and using phone app when away from home
    3. treadmill this evening for 1 hour!
  • Wow Shanaedunn - 33 boy pushups in one minute!!! I'm impressed...I did "girl" pushups on a half ball the other day and could barely get through 15 at a time...my arms were killing me the next day.

Here's to you meeting all of your goals tomorrow...It isn't easy getting the water in...but I try to drink a bottle of water every time I go out during the day for a smoke...(i know another goal for another day - i'm tackling my hurdles one at a time)

    Goals for tomorrow...

    1) get up by 7:30 am - up and out of the bed!!! - didn't quite make it...got up at about 7:55am...at least it was before 8am
    2) drink 64 ounces or more of water - finishing my last glass as I type
    3) complete writing up assessment from today and turn in for authorization - got it and it didn't need any corrections! I have "graduated" from having to have the clinical director review my assessments to being able to turn them directly in for authorization without the review...yay!
    4) gym at 4:30 pm to meet with fit coach...and workout! - I made it - and man was it a butt kickin!!!
