i started out at 324 in October and now am down to 279 so we are very similar! i know exactly what you mean I started out the first 2 months just walking, gradually adding more uphill to the walk. then i bought myself an elliptical for my birthday and the first time i got on it i only did 5 minutes and thought i was going to die! within a week i was able to get up to 30 minutes straight. it gets easier and easier as you go along. until it does you can try what i did. i would do 10 minutes on the elliptical 4 or 5 times a day. any workout it better than none! i will definitely add you, its great to follow people in the same boat as you are and try and motivate them along the way! you can do it! just keep sticking with it0

Hi All,
I joined a while ago, but quickly fell off the wagon. I'm back and committed to meeting my first BIG goal of losing 100 pounds before my brother's wedding. I started at 284 and am down 12 pounds so far to 272...long way to go, but it's great to have others we can be kept accountable by and inspired by! Add me too! I'm a newbie, looking for more friends!

Thank you for posting. I was feeling a little alone myself. Most every thread I read had people in the 100 - 200 range. I started my fittness pal 3 months ago at my highest weight ever....338 pounds. As of today, I am 312. I will be overjoyed when someday soon I will leave the 300's behind me. Feel free to add me if you would like. It's nice to know that we are not alone. Thanks for sharing and giving me the courage to share.0
