Muscles - GOOOOOD! Of course a man doesn't have to have huge bulging muscles to be attractive. People come in all shapes and sizes for a reason. I think a healthy looking person is just as attractive as a ripped muscle guy.0

What is gross looking are those body building types with 7% body fat, steroid bloat and a fake tan all oiled up in speedos grinning, flexing and looking foolish. That's a far result from an athletic build and good physique.So upon talking with most of the girls I know around 90% of them say that lean muscle and a guy having rippling abs is just pure gross!!!
I somehow think that these girls re misguided and just are not used to seeing a well built guy...
Do the girls here agree?? If not what is your ideal guy??
I know that there is more to a guy than a 'hot body' and that his personality plays a huge role... But who wouldnt want a guy with a hot body?? Am I right???
And the ladies like a fit body just as much as we do - some don't like admitting that.

Because, of course what ONE woman likes, ALL women like. And what ONE man likes, ALL men like.
We are programmed to like a fit person. ALL OF US. Just because we grow to look past that, doesn't mean we all don't like a "HOT" body.0 -
maybe they just say that because their boyfriends are scrawny weeds so they try and pretend that they like that in guys xD
i agree with some of the ladies above, lean defined muscle is sexy OT bodybuilder guys are not lol0 -
I love lean muscle over bulked up muscle.
My husband calls the guys that work out their top halves but not their legs roosters. Don't like them at all, they look out of proportion.0 -
I don't know....I think I generally tend to associate really muscular guys with aggression, anger issues, and a generally shallow, jerky attitude towards others. I am aware that this is not reality but just a result of my own personal life experiences, nevertheless, when it comes to chemistry these types tend to be completely off the radar for me due to my past experiences.
Oddly enough, my husband of twenty years has always been in *amazing* shape. No sixpack - he has an eight pack. He was kind and decent enough to others to totally bypass my natural prejudices. But as a rule, when it comes to that instant chemistry thing, guys like that are still sort of reflexively rejected in my brain.
Again, for those who might have read the first sentence and then got blinded with indignation before they read the rest - yes it is a prejudice, and unfair. It's just baggage from living with an abusive stepfather who was an ex footballer. And a couple of butthead marine boyfriends in my teens.0 -
As a general rule I won't be attracted to a guy who's got bigger tits then I do, that goes for man titties and those weird muscle protruding ones, peck's I think they're called!!0

Well I am not going to go insanely over board... I just want to get a decent lean musclular look!! But apparently thats a turn off to the majority of the girls I know... However this wont stop me hahha!

A little muscle, and super toned is hot in my eyes.
Big muscles so you look like you have no neck and would have trouble wiping your own butt, that is just gross. And those that forget to work the lower body as much as the upper, well that just looks weird... In my opinion

I find muscles a turn off. I like slim yet cuddly guys!
Perhaps that just isn't a physical thing though; often muscly guys are also a bit full of themselves and I like a down to earth guy!
Thankfully, both these descriptions describe my husband
This is how I feel.. A guy with a set of hot abs and killer arms.. is effing SEXY!!! BUT.. and this is just my experience.. These guys can be total *kitten*.. they think too much of themselves and expect girls falling over at their feet.. And the girls do fall over at their feet.. but theyre being played..
Okay.. just to clear the records.. i live in South Africa.. and this is what the guys here are like.. so other nationalities are not to take offence..
But there real isn't better eye candy than a sexy body!!0 -

Guys who spend a lot of time in the gym with weights actually DO turn me off, and always have. I never really understood why, until recently. I think I see those guys as narcissistic. I realize not all of them are, and hell, we all want to look good. I spend a lot of time in the gym and instruct, so yes... I have double-standards. :laugh:

Not true for me, I would say for me it's more like:
Looks such as smile/eyes + personality > Looks (body + height) > Money (although moneys not really on the list at all as long as they're ambitious and not just lazy.
Confidence comes under personality. I like confidence but there's a fine line with that and overconfident. I like shy guys, you can still be that and confident I think.0
