    The highest paid footballers in the uk are on about $250,000 a WEEK. And thats just the basic salary, not counting bonuses, sponsorships etc.

    Even the crap ones are sitting on about $40,000 a WEEK.

    For 38 games right? NFL is 16 games (because it's very hard to play at high intensity for longer than that). Based on that, then they are making more per game then the NFL players (with the exception of the super stars). Good for them, but I'll bet that the owners of the clubs of the Premier league are banking BIG if that's what their players make.
