    OVER halfway through the month. How are y'all doing?

    in January, I'm going for at least 180. It'll probably have to be mostly on the trainer if last January's weather was typical in our town. Egad.

    I was a bit concerned my goal is too high since I'm pretty much stuck with riding the trainer but I've made it past the halfway point miles-wise now, so I think it can be done, even on the stupid bike trainer.

    Spinning shoes with clips? If so yes because you are now positioning your foot different on the pedal. It is temporary. If you have clips and can stay after class learn to pedal with one leg. Practice one side for a few minutes and then the other side and learn to push and pull instead of mashing down. get that circular motion down

    Grrrr, we are having wintery conditions on Vancouver Island, which means I have not been able to bike for the past week. That combined with Christmas vacation means we are more than half way through the month and I have only biked 25 miles. I am hoping the weather will be back to normal next week so i at least will get up to 100 miles for the month. :huh:
