my housemates think it's really weird, but I LOVE a banana cut in half longways and then half short-ways filled with peanut butter: like a pb sandwich but with banana instead of bread!

I do this all the time! It's delicious! It's also really good with coconut butter

A medium banana in the blender, blend it with 2 teaspoons cocoa powder (for baking) pour mixture into dish and freeze. Chocolate banana frozen treat. for when i really want ice cream. 110 calories. Sometimes ill add some cool whip free which makes it a 150 calorie dessert. mmmm. i just ate some!

I like to do something similar - blend 1 frozen banana with a tiny bit of water until it's like ice cream and top with 1 tsp - 1 tbl warm peanut butter or nutella.

    Cottage cheese
    1tsp of pesto
    fresh dices tomato
and really and veggies you want!!!!

I usually do cottage cheese and salsa mixed........delish........I will have to try this....the pesto is a nice twist. Thanks.

I do the cottage cheese and salsa as the topping for baked potatoes. Delish!!!

Def have to try on a baked potato......never thought of doing that......yum

I've never tried my bake potatoes with cottage cheese but have been using salsa instead of butter for quite some time. I believe it's an old Weight Watchers trick. So so SO yummy!!

She must have meant to say 1/2 TB. 1 TB of smuckers natural is 110 or so.
55 cals for a TB?!!! What peanut butter are you using, because I need this! All the PB I've found is 95-100 calories per tablespoon.

    ^^^^ YES! THIS!

not terribly low call.. BUT.. amazingly satisfying when you desperately want a chocolate bar *L* (tastes great even unfrozen)

    1/2 medium banana, mashed
    stir in:
    1/4 tsp vanilla
2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder (not hot choc mix)
    1/2 pkg individual size splenda
1/3 cup instant non-fat powdered milk (less works fine too as most of the calories are in this powdered milk)

    once mixed together, stir in:
    1/3 cup grapenuts cereal.

roll mixture together into log shape with waxed paper or parchment, freeze.

    190 calories

wanna make it even better? add up to 1 tblsp peanut butter to mixture, to taste

Amazing low calorie chicken tortilla soup, I thought I'd share the recipe:

Total calories per serving (2 cups) is 151 calories.
Total calories per serving (2 cups of soup with the toppings added) = 451 calories.

I made it in a large crockpot, put all soup ingredients in, for 12 hours on low, (though 6 hours on low is plenty. Also you could do it on high for 3 to 4 hours, till chicken is cooked all the way through basically). Take the chicken out at end of cook time, (it will be very tender and fall apart), and use two forks to pull it apart/shred it.

    SOUP INGREDIENTS:
1 can of Ortega black beans (drained and rinsed)
1 can of Libby's whole kernel corn (not drained)
    3 cans of Campbell's chicken stock/broth.
    2 cans of water.
2 cans ROTEL. 1 of the hot and 1 can of regular.
1 skinless & boneless Tyson frozen chicken breast with rib meat, approx. 6 oz.
Onion (yellow) - Raw, 1/2 cup, chopped
1 can Ortega - Diced Green Chilis
    1 TBSP ground black pepper
    1 TBSP cumin
1 TBSP garlic salt (garlic powder can be used or 1 clove fresh garlic crushed in place of the garlic salt for less sodium).

    TOPPINGS (as desired):
Lemon juice 1 TBSP, added it directly to the bowl of soup when serving.
1 TBSP of Wholly Guacamole original to each bowl
1 TBSP of sour cream to each bowl
1 TBSP shredded mozzarella to each bowl
Frito's Original Corn Chips 1 serving (32 chips)

1/2 c frozen blueberries (from Costco)
    1/2 c nonfat cottage cheese
the cold blueberries are great with the cottage cheese and the protein keeps you full!

I eat something like this for breakfast and love it! I haven't tried the nuts yet, but ill have to. I use a 1/2c whole grain quick oats (150cal), 1/4c dannon natural vanilla yogurt (50 cal, even though theres more calories in the natural, i chose to eat it because there aren't any artifical sweetners...but anyway, thats my choice and there are yogurts out there for fewer calories), tsp cinnamon, and 1/4c 2% milk (32.5cal). Its a quick making breakfast thats filling, sweet, and is only 232.5 calories! I like adding fruit to it somedays when Im not craving the cinnamon and still keep it under 300 calories. Its very tasty and does take the cravings for sweets down too. Ill try it with the pecans next. Thanks.
