You know, you see these before and after pictures on the slim fast commercials...........the person never quite looks like they could REALLY be the Before..........or the After. I have always suspected the photos were 'doctored'. Yours look the same way. because you really aren't that same person are you? I think you've done amazing. Keep up the good work. This came at a good time for me, my weight loss has stabilized over the past 5 days. I needed this to motivate me.0

Thankyou for the advice. I too have 40lbs to lose, if not more...but 40 is the goal. I just started this journey 2 days ago. I'm finding it pretty difficult. I know I'd rather be thinner and healthier than eat bad food...so why do I keep wanting to eat it? What kinds of foods did you eat. Snacks? I need ideas for things I can eat.
You look great btw!
Thanks

I'm more than a little embarrassed that I weigh the same as a guy. (actually a little more!) Also same starting weight - I really need to lose weight or have a sex change operation0

Thank you for the kind words. I was going to try to reply to everyone but I guess that is just silly. I cannot say enough good things about this site. For extra motivation I wanted to point out I lost 28 lbs in about 90 days. I had lost about 15 lbs over about 6 months before finding this site. My advice to anyone that cares.
1. Keep it simple
2. Drink tons of water
3. When unsure - Over estimate calories in and under estimate calories burned.
4. Don't obsess over the scale. Pick a weigh in day once a week and stick with it.
5. Most importantly be honest with yourself. Don't pretend the cupcake was only 25 calories.
I love #5. This is so true! Congrats on your loss!! Great job0 -

The feed back has really blown me away. You guys and girls are what makes this site rock! Thank you again and again. I look forward to seeing everyone reach their goals!
someone asked what I ate.
I ate a lot of low calorie dense food. Mashed potatoes, Oatmeal and lots of peanut butter sandwiches. I drank 32 oz of water with every meal. I took lean cuisines for lunch every day. It really was important for me to drink as much water as possible. If I was hungry and out of calories I went to the gym and earned them. Yes I ate back my workout calories every day. As long as I was at my net that is all I cared about. I won't say that I ate very clean but I wanted to keep it simple( My rule # 1) Weight loss has so many health benefits that I just focused on that. Now that I am where I want to be I can spend my time and extra calories eating cleaner. I am sure their is healthier ways to do it but to me it was the results that mattered.0
