Cheese, carrots, and sliced turkey or chicken; all things I include normally in my lunches.0

I'm surprised with so many people saying cheese. It seems somewhat counterproductive to me.
Why? I make room for it within my daily calorie allotment. How is that counterproductive? I don't eat as much of it as I used to, since I've cut down on my portions of *everything*, but it's still something that I eat very frequently. Cheese didn't make me fat and unhealthy. I became fat and unhealthy as a result of eating too much, and moving too little.0 -

man it must be this cold i have but i'm feeling slow. most as in volume/weight, or in frequency? 'cause that changes my answer for sure!
(but i still don't see moderate amounts of cheese as a bad thing... presumably most people on here are eating in a way they know they can sustain over time. so, better to have small portions frequently versus depriving oneself and consequently binging at some point and labeling self a failure, falling off wagon, etc., etc., etc. different strokes, i guess.)0 -
Special K. Every damn morning, I'm obsessed with the stuff.
I also eat an egg pretty much every day, and every 1-2 days I'll eat porridge (oatmeal) with half a banana.0 -
