I am 163cm...just a smidge under 5"4....currently 164lbs...and hoping to get to 142lbs...as this but thinking I want to be around 132...we'll see when I get there I am doing the 30 day shred at the moment..so hoping to build lead muscle to help me burn more calories.0

I'm 5'4" and currently 149.8 lbs, I'm proud of being less than 150, that's if my scale is right At my highest when I was pregnant with my first child 4 years ago I was like 190 or something crazy, I gained 60 pounds with her, and with breastfeeding and exercising some I got down to 155. I couldn't get passed that and was dissapointed because after graduating high school I was 118 (in 2001) and then packed on the freshman 15 and then some during college. After college I weighed 150 and did weight watchers and lost 15lbs. I want to get back down to that weight again because I don't think I looked very healthy in my old high school pics, I think I looked too skinny if that's possible.. With my second child, 2 years ago I was 155-160 to begin with and gained 27 pounds (gestational diabetes actually was my friend with my diet) and I have to credit breastfeeding again to my rapid weight loss, and now I'm stuck at the same post-pregnancy, post-college weight. My profile pic was taken in September before I started WW and I just startd MFP 6 days ago. I will try to post some pictures if I can get the courage to. I have a mommy pouch that I hate and am not sure that the extra skin will ever go away.. Sorry for the long post, but background is nice to have. I get inspiration from reading many of your posts and looking at the pictures. I do have a question, how do you spread out your calories during the day and balance them with exercise? I'm around the 1380-1400/day and I do exercise 3x/week for 30-60 minutes, sometimes its less frequent depending on my schedule, but I don't know how to not feel hungry or sometimes guilty for eating over my calories yet exercising that same day.. I feel like I should be burning more than I eat, yet it would take me all day to burn 1400 calories..0

instead of eating 3 big meals a day i have 5 small meals (:
my diary is open if you want to see.
as for exercise, personally i exercise when i have time,
usually at nights and i try to make sure i don't eat all of my calories back.
i try to have at least 200 calories left over everyday after exercising.0 -
Before and during, the photo on the left was taken October 2011 (266 lbs) , the photo on the right Feb 2012 (218 lbs), I'm 5'4".
Still working at it but this side by side is a HUGE motivator for me!3 -
I'm about 5'3'', but I only have a 'before' picture of my face (you can see it in my pictures). Most people don't think it's me. I think I weighed about 183 in it--I'm now 103-1050
-
I am 5'4 and my goal weight is about 110-112 (I have a small frame but lots of muscle!) If you look at my pics in my profile you can see what I look like at about 115. I am 120 now but trying to have baby #2 I know 5'4 women who are 105 and do not look unhealthy and who are 135 and look fantastic! Just depends on your body shape, size etc.0

I chose my goal based on what a "normal healthy" BMI would be, thought it would be too low, but kept it. As I am getting closer I will not go by weight but by how I actually look and feel. I always thought a "normal" BMi makes women too skinny looking and all "10-year-old boy" looking.0

Amazing guys......you all look so great0

How did you do it?0

I don't have "after" pictures but I have some pretty brutal before (brutal for me, anyway) I could e-mail (no thank you to posting them at least not yet!!). I started Dec. 2010 at 208 lbs, at 5'4"; I'm currently ~166. My goal weight is 140 and from there it will be to increase tone and stamina... I should probably start exercising? But I've lost all my weight so far just on either healthy eating (the first 30 lbs) and calorie counting (12 lbs :x).
Good luck0 -

I'm 5"3 and I started at 199.5 pounds. I'm down to 133 pounds, and I'm a size 7 dress size. I don't have other measurements offhand, but I do have pictures that I posted as a topic not long ago.

(I was 131 when the pics were taken, I've been fluctuating the last couple of weeks)
I'm now mainly concentrating on toning up, but I would still like to sit at around 125-130, which, when I googled it, said that was an ideal average weight for a 5"3 female.
Hope this helps!0 -
I am 5'3". When I started my journey back in Sept 2010, I was 200 lbs
Now, I am between 132-137 (struggling a little emotionally, but working on it)
In this picture, I have lost about 60 lbs - 135 seems to be a good weight for me.0 -
great to see others out there similar to me. Some further along in their journey. I am about 5'4" and weighed in initially over 170. I'm currently just below that. My ideal goal would be 125, but honestly I'de be happy at 130. It's pretty hard to say for sure now, but I'll know closer when I get there Anybody looking for friends feel free to add me!0

I'm 5'2 and my goal weight is 150lbs. That was my weight when I graduated high school in 1997 and I looked great. My butt/thighs I will never lose, even at my slimmest in middle school I had those, and I know they will add 10lbs or so. LOL0

I'm struggling with deciding what my final weight goal should be. I've gone anywhere from 135lbs-160lbs...
So I'm just curious on your goal weights, why you chose that goal, and/or how you achieved/are achieving your goals :)
Pictures, measurements, and/or height/weights are all appreciated!
I don't remember where I read it, but I read that at 5 ft weight should be 100 lbs....and then 5 lbs for every inch after that. I'm 5'3 1/2 so that would put me at 117. I got down to 116 two years ago and I was a bit too thin for my liking so I went up to 121-125 and liked how I looked at that weight. Pre-baby I was weighing 123-125....I am now back down to 128..only got 3-5 to go!

I am also 5' 3.5" and knew I atleast wanted to be at 120. I thought maybe 115 but realized once I hit anything under 115 it all starts to come off my boobs ! So I like being ideally between 118-1200 -

I'm 5'3" and started at 197 and am now 141, have reached goal, but have made a new goal and will just see how far I get on the food and exercise I'm doing currently, I'm not going to up the exercise or cut the food anymore than what I'm already doing, as I figure my body will figure out where its meant to be soon

i'm 5'3.75"
I started at 174, hips were 42", waist was 34", bra 36 B
Now i'm 123. Waist is 27", hips are 33.5", Bra 32 A
I have METICULOUS notes on my progress on my page. I don't have tons of pics, but i put them up every once in a while. Currently have a pic from 174 (not a very good one), one from 145 (i guess i didn't take any those first 30 lbs!) And one belly pic from about 130....
I figured my goal weight originally to be 145 because my high school weight was 155 and when I went vegan in college, it went down to 145, so I figured that was my "healthy adult weight."
When I got there, I felt I could go further. I had been 135 when I was a raw foodist after college, so when I got to 145 on MFP I said "heck! I can get to 135!" And i did.
Once I got there, I thought, well...I coudl try going further. Why not? I'm eating every day and getting exercise! So now I'm 123- a weight I never thought possible for me.
Currently I have my goal at 121 because according to my calculations, that's where I'd be right around 17-18% BF and after all, body fat percentage is really what we care about. If I was 135 lbs of bikini-riffic toned muscle, I wouldn't want to lose any weight!
My advice is start with a goal weight that you think is healthy and that you think will make you comfortable. When you get there, you can always decide to try to push it further. I think as long as you are netting at least 1200 cals a day of nutritional food, you are ok.0 -
I'm 5'4". I'm currently 140. I want to get down to 130. I got down to 132 on WW years ago and felt good and confident. I think 130 would be good for me.0
