I just started Ripped in 30 after finishing the 30 Day Shred yesterday. Feels great. Is anyone else starting today or start recently? I could use the support of others who are trying to complete the 30 days.

I'm on day 2 of 30 day shred as well!0

I'm on day 6 of 30DS. I plan to do another Jillian DVD when I finish this, maybe it will be Ripped in 30. Good luck!!0
-
I've been dabbling with Ripped, I'll do it consistently if you do :-)0

I'm on day 4 of Ripped in 30. I love the workout and I think it will be affective because I have done P90x and so far I have seen alot of all the same exercises in it that is the reason I got it. But P90x takes an hour a day and that is kind of much. I def feel it in my buttocks and thighs and a little bit in my arms but I'm only using 3lb weights. I also try and walk/jog/and run for to .0

I've been doing Ripped in 30 for a while...my wrists just can't take all of those damned plank exercises; but it's a great workout.0

Oh yeah it also has Bershera or what ever her name is ans she is real known also in workouts. If you have seen that new P.I.N.K method she is in it to!!! I was really excited about that she is on t.v and I have just recently been seeing alot of her. She is the week one and I'm sure the other weeks to..0

Hey guys, tomorrow will be Day 3 of ripped in 30 for me, I am definitely feeling it! My legs and abs are so sore! Can't wait to see results! think I will do the video 5 times a week plus another video i.e. turbofire on the 6th day.
How is everyone finding it?0 -
Does anyone know about how many calories you burn on Ripped in 30 on week one? I just am guessing now and I just go with 160 calories because I have no idea and would rather be under guessing than over guessing.0
-
Well I use my heart rate monitor and I have burnt approx 400 for each workout but thats from warm up to cool down....is that too high :S0

Hi, I also have this DVD, (along with all the other Jillian Michaels DVD's that are playable in Europe!), but I tend to do a mixture of them as part of my weekly workout routines rather than sticking with one for the 30 days straight, if that makes sense!
I've had this one a few weeks and I have been doing level 3 and 4 back to back one day a week, in addition to my other daily workouts, and find it feels like a really good workout (I don't have a hrm but I def feel the 'burn' afterwards!)
I love Jillian Michaels and the way she makes me work til it hurts!!0 -
What level are you on?I have no idea but maybe I guessed to low0
-
I'm only on Level 1 haha, I havent done much strength training for a year so its likely it is that, thats making me burn more calories I wonder if age accounts for anything aswell lol?0
-
Lol I am only one week one day 5 today! I have no idea about it really. I may need to look into getting me a moniter. Hey add me as a friend. I am new to the community thing but not new to MFP so I have no friends on here well maybe like 3 lol.0

I am on day 3 of level and getting bored...would be glad to have some folks to help keep me on track:)0
-
I've been trying to do it, but got sidetracked, so I'd love some buddies!0

Glad to see there's a group of us on a similar schedule. I just finished Day 2. I wear a heart rate monitor and yesterday I burned 249 and today 240. I think 160 is probably too low of an estimate.
I woke up feeling really sore this morning, but was happy to push through and do my workout today. I plan to do it 6 days a week and take off Saturday as my rest day? What's everyone else's plan?0 -
Today I chose as my rest day, my body was so sore after work, instead I did some yoga to stretch my muscles out. D4 Wk1 tomorrow, kinda excited0
-
I finished W1, D3 this morning and upped to 5 pound weights. My shoulders/back are a bit sore (a good sore) but I can just imagine what they will feel like in the morning.0

I just bought Ripped in 30 today. Should I do 30 Day Shred first?0

Just finished Day 4 phew! Burnt 385 calories Challenged myself today to do the advanced versions of every cardio move...yay! Still struggling on the push ups at the very start, I'm on my knees and still only manage to do about 15 seconds worth :blushing:0

Hi ladies! Yes maybe 160 is to low but I kind of judge it of running on the treadmill lol kind of crazy but with me walking running and jogging it takes about 10 mins to burn 100 calories so I just guessed low to be safe. I plan to do it 6 days a week as well Sunday being my rest day but yesterday I didn't do it because my day at home was hectic but I did do my treadmill. I just did the ripped in 30 week one day 5. I am guessing I may stay on a week for a whole 7 days I'm just going to play by ear though.. What is the best moniter so I will be able to get my calorie count? Hope everyone has a great day!!!0

Thanks! I will try RI30 and see. My friend said she has 30DS and she felt it was easy. If I need to, I can use her DVD to get me up to speed.0 -
I just finished Week 1 Day 3. My whole body is sore. I used 3lb weights for 30DS and upped to 5lbs for RI30 because 3lbs seemed to easy.0

I've been using Ripped in 30 as my main exercise of choice in the morning but not for 30 days straight. Is got hurt last time I was doing it and wanted to build up my leg strength as my knees weren't too fond of all the squats/lunges Jillian has in her videos. I've been doing it about 3 times a week and adding other workouts throughout the week as well. (Recently did her 6 pack in 6 weeks and loved it) This morning I started "week 3". Let me tell ya....when she says in circuit 3 I think it is in week 2 that she starts to get a lil crazy and never look back she is NOT kidding lol I love Jillian and swear by her videos as I've always gotten great results. I've never swore at this woman on my tv screen as much as I did this morning. But I love Ripped in 30. I completed her 30 day Shred last year and it was great in helping me just get back in shape in general and I lost inches everwhere. I think Ripped in 30 is a bit more advance and that's why it's perfect for me currently. It is hard for me remember that I'm building lots of muscle with this so the scale isn't going to be friend at first. That's a weekly reminder....I know most are in week 1 but I hope I can check back in with you all. I am always looking for fellow Jillian fans!0

Just finished day 5 of lvl 1 finally managed to do 30secs of push ups  plus I upped my weights to 2kg for the dead lift squat and biceps curl/lunge!0
-
I just finished Week 1 Day 4 and it's kicking my butt. I'm scared to see what the advanced levels look like.0
-
I am finishing week 2 today! I was suppose to finish it yesterday, but my body was screaming for a rest day. I wasnt sore, just so tired I couldnt even lift my legs, so I took yesterday off ( from RI30, still did some Zumba) and I am back today and going to kill this workout. I am leaving week two strong!
I cannot wait to start week 3. I am a little nervous that it will be a lot harder, but I can do it!
It's nice to find others doing the same workout.0 -
Some questions
When do you usually workout?
Do you do other workouts with this one?
Can you see any results yet?0
