I'm proud because I had a great workout and I managed to not eat the cookies, cupcakes, and chips/queso they had in the teacher's louge at school today!0

I'm proud of myself for being 40lbs away from minus 300 lbs. A feat that a couple years ago when I started this journey I didnt see as reality. I'm proud of myself for finally being able to see my own progress. I put on a suit the other day that was smaller than a size 50 for the first time in 20 years. I'm just proud! Humble, but PROUD!! woot woot
Awesome Job!!0 -
I made a big poop.
That's definitely worth celebrating!0 -
Lost 2 more lbs!0

I'm proud of my brand new size TEN work pants! Much nicer than my 14s! AND they were on major sale
I'm proud of how I turned down tons of Valentines treats from co-workers AND my students.0 -
I did more reps of my strength training workout this week than I did on Monday
. Even my trainer was excited for me

- staying under my calorie goal
- drinking 9 glasses of water
- not finishing a piece of pizza (!)
- doing 10 min of an exercise video I bought 6+ months ago and never even OPENED until tonight (!!)0 -
Okay, I was so excited and happy after my cardio appt. today that I wanted to cry.
I certainly prove that eating better and exercising makes a big difference.
I though this was just a follow up with a discussion of my last summers run of many tests
which is was, but they also did a rapid NON-fasting blood test.
I was a bit disappointed in their scale as I weighed 157 at 11:30 with clothes on because
my scale says I weigh 149, but. The good news is I lost 9 lbs. in 7 mo. since I last went
to see him. I was 166. I almost died when I asked my weight history since I have been
seeing a cardiologist and my highest weight was 178 almost 2 years ago. YIKES!
So, here are my numbers in comparison to July 26, 2011
Total Chol: 185 to 153 (don't forget this was also NON fasting) could have been a better number - EEEEEEE
Trig: 157 to 62 (holy crap)
HDL (good) 50 to 57 (thanks to exercise I'm guessing)
LDL (bad) 104 to 84 (yes)
Chol. ratio 3.7 to 2.7 1% is huge he said
AND...
Blood sugar 103 to 97. Now I did have a check of this with my primary in the Fall and it was 119 so this is huge BECAUSE
I'm no longer consider pre-diabetic!!!!! oh yeah!!!!!!!!! happy dance.
@DeniseAS - WOW!!!! that is awesome! congrats on your weight loss and on hitting those health goals. Great job - thanks for the reminder that hard work DOES pay off!0 -
I'm proud of the fact that even though I'm sore as heck, I still worked out!0

I officially lost my first 10 pounds today. Yay!0
-
I ate a couple servings of baby carrots today when I was reaaalllly craving some chips.
Resisted the two-day-long-and-running urge to swing by the store for some good quality dark chocolate. I won't eat one serving. I will eat the whole thing if I buy it.
Drank lots of water!
Finally upped my calorie goal in MFP from 1200 to 1600- I've been doing an hour of cardio 6 days a week, lifting heavy weights, doing pilates, yoga, and walking the dog with my husband. 1200 cal ain't gonna cut it, and I REFUSE to set myself up for disappointment and possible health problems from not taking in enough nourishment.0 -
Im proud of myself for signing back up on Sunday. since then I have worked out everyday, stayed within my calories, and today I started the 30 Day Shred. That was after working 8 hours, working on my sons homework, cooking dinner, doing dishes, and packing lunches. I put him to bed and swam 1.5 km. Now Im enjoying a glass of wine well within my calories!
This time Im only going to weigh in once a week as I find it discouraging doing every day weighs.0 -
I'm proud of myself for losing another 2 pounds0
-
I'm proud of myself for not using the excuse that my school/job searching is too stressful to keep up with my nutrition/fitness goals.0
-
I am proud of myself because i have stuck with my new lifestyle for the longest i ever have before, and have lost the most weight I've ever lost before. And because of that, today, I tried on a dress at the same store I tried on a dress in Aug (before I made my changes) and today I was able to put on a sz 16 dress when in Aug i needed a sz 24.0

I'm proud that I made miso soup and sushi for dinner tonight, and it's the best I've made it so far. Not bad for a prairie girl. Haha Delicious and nutritious!0

-
I'm proud of myself because for the first time in a long time I have hope and I can look at unhealthy food and feel powerful to say "your not worth it"
And as an add on the reason I feel so hopeful is MFP.... I love this site and all the supportive people I have found here!

I have had several NSV's this past week, while in the midst of feeling discouraged. After losing 52 pounds I FINALLY dropped one pant size, my ring fits comfortably on my finger and now I don't have to keep it on my bracelet, the seatbelt in my friends car finally fits and is comfortable, I don't think I've ever had so many compliments. There's a few more, but I can't remember what they are0
-
Today I could fit into last years jeans, sit and breath - all at the same time.0
-
I have gained my self confidence back. Feeling good about myself again. Steady losing weight and most of all I am very proud and humble to have such wonderful friends on MFP. I believe that because of them, they have helped me become who I am today. ME!0
-
