5 Guys anything . . . hubby won't even let me experience it

Divorce. No questions asked. Judge will give you the house if you tell him that.

    It's just downright cruel!

Food I'm proud to have never eaten.

    1.

Actually no I'm quite adventurous when it comes to food. Probably from years in F&B and I'll try anything once.
I feel bad for people that are so closed minded about trying new things... they miss out on so much good stuff.

One thing I don't want to say on my deathbed is, "I wish I had experienced more of what life had to offer."

Couldnt agree more. I have tried a whole heck of a lot of foods... some are good some make me wonder what I was thinking but I am proud to say I have tried many things and when the day comes I wont be saying "I wish I had experienced more of what life had to offer."
  • mine would be more like foods I'm proud I HAVE eaten....

    1. Tilapia (because I'm not a big fish person)
    2. octopus (its got 8 legs!)
    3. escargot (because it sounds creepy)
    4. sushi (and I LOVE it)

I'm sure there's more, but that's good for now. I LOVE food.

Human flesh. I guess....I mean, not that I wouldn't, if I was hungry....or really bored...and the guy next to me was asleep....or a slower runner than I am....you know, things happen....

Veal - it looks and smells so yummy, but those poor baby cows. Other than that, I am not proud of anything I do or don't eat. I'll try most things one time.

Meh, speak for yourself. I feel no shame in having eaten nearly all of these at some point or another.

    Nor have I had Geoduck.

To the nay-sayers of SPAM, some times in certain applications...it's quite good. A local food truck makes these wonderful Spam Sliders:

I'm sad to say that I would die without the occasional mcdonald breakfast. I mean this in the silliest sense (because that is very good for your health) when I say you have been deprived!

Pride in what foods you haven't eaten. Really...someone being proud that they haven't eaten some processed foods?

Hmm...pride seems to have lowered it's standards recently.
  • I grew up poor and my dad raised me. I had hamburger helper almost every night til I learned to cook at 10 lol

Well growing up white trash and lower middle class...lol I liked some of those foods, spam, hamburger helper, TV dinners... but I have never been big on fast food at all. Also since I have gotten older and moved out on my own, I am 90% vegan, I don't eat frozen food/processed food for the most part. And never eat fast food! So I guess I am proud I don't eat them now, but I also know at the time, I liked them, and I don't see anything wrong with "bad" food in moderation. So I don't think I have any foods to add to this topic,,

Cheeseburger. I am a foodie and have eaten so many different foods, and I've never had a cheeseburger. I had my first hot dog a couple months ago...Never again!
