Lets see .. married a coworker when I was 24 and he was 28 ..we had known each other for about a year and got married after going out for 9 months. We have been together for 20 years. Whew !! Hasn't been a bed of roses but here we still are .:bigsmile:0

I was 27 when we got engaged (he was 37). We were together for a little over a month before getting engaged. I was still 27 when we got married. We are still together 6 1/2 years later!0 -

Got engaged on my 21st birthday, and married a month before my 22nd birthday (my husband is 35). We were together for 1.5 years before getting engaged, and about 2.5 yrs before getting married. We just got married in October 2011 but are still together0

When we met, I was 18 and he was 20, he was only a year older but the way our birthdays fell it sometimes looked like two. We met in March, got engaged in August, he left for 6 months on a deployment (he was military), he came back in April, we were married in May. At that point, I was 19 and he was 21 (again because of the birthdays). We were married for 10 years. We still occasionally talk. It wasn't a bad break up, just crazy circumstances.0

How long had you been together before getting engaged? We were crazies. We met at the end of July, got engaged in October, eloped on Christmas. So dating 3 months (6 weeks long distance relationship). Engaged for 2 months before getting married. Five months total before eloping.

We met in July 1999, and officially started dating on August 21, 1999. I was 22, he was 24.
We got engaged on December 22, 2000. I was 23, he was 26. He chose the date because he didn't want the ring/engagement to be seen as a Christmas gift, but he really was ready to pop the question and that just happened to be the time of year. We dated 17 months before getting engaged.
We got married April 6, 2002. I was 25, he was 27. Our engagement was just over 15 months long.
We are still together - our 10th anniversary is this year. There have been many bumps in the road, a few really hard times, and I tend to zig when he zags, but we are still in love and going strong.0 -

Engaged when I was 26 (he was 39) we dated 4 1/2 years before we married after a 6 month (rough) engagement.
Married 20 tumultuous years with three children.
I re-married when I was 47 (he was 53 never been married) we got engaged 6 weeks after meeting and married 6 months later. Been married 3 very, very happy years!0 -
We met in March 2008 and he proposed 3 weeks later (I was 43 and he was almost 40)... we got engaged officially in April 2008 and married in November 2009... still together and happier than ever....
However... my first time was... engaged in July 1988 (after being together for 16 months) and married in October 1988 ( I was 23 and he was 31)... separated in 2007, so together for 19 years......

Together for 6 years and ended up divorced

And we are due to celebrate 1 year of Marriage on the 26th of this month 0 -
