It looks like we all had a great week this last week....I was down 2 lbs:bigsmile: question is can I keep it up while on the road.....We are going to the mountains for a couple of day then on to Utah to visit Bobs family and out oldest daughter who lives there for the 4th. It'll be ...greate exspecally after these last few week..... who know at yard sale could be such a work out....but my body is so sore......I feel like I've been on a traidmil all day :sick:
Crystal, hugs and prays for your mom. I hope the surgery goes well...what a scary thing to go through. keep us informed how it goes..
Amanda, it sounds like you are having a great vacation too...Don't you love camping. I can't wait to head up to cooler country in the pines....I love hiking but I also love coming home afterward to a nice shower and comfortable bed too... which I'm about to climb into in a few minuts...I'll sleep good tonight........

I was able to wear my goal dress yesterday!! It's a size 8 yellow summer dress that I had bought second hand a few months back!! I was so proud & really felt great!! Thanks to you all for being here & for being so motivating!! I couldn't have done it with out you!

Hi ya Ladies !!! I sure miss popping in here at times.... My mom is having surgery July 6th so we are trying to get our trip to Michigans adventure in before that since I have training the rest of July!!! I am getting headaches lately but I think it is from the stress and worrying about my mom. They said that if 3 relativly close people in my family have had a aneurysm that I should get a cta .. So sure enough there has been atleast 3 that I can find....:frown: The girls are doing great !! Summer is fun so far YayYay!! I will try to check in as much as I can I feel like such a turd for not being in here more often...:grumble:

Sorry ladies this is late, I tried to post a message yesterday but it wouldn't post. Anyway, I have been so busy this week I went to a Dental Surgeon for consultation and it turns out that I have to get my 4 wisdom teeth taken out. I have to dish out 2000.00$ before tuesday. So I think my weight in next week will be good because I will b on a purree diet for like 4 days.

Ok so I have a question for you ladies. I got to my parents house and their scale said 155lbs!!! Now usually I am lighter on their scale then mine at home (only a pound) and this morning it is 147. Is it possible that I lost that much in a week? I knew I gained some back because I was not counting my calories but I did not think that much. Maybe water weight? Ok help me out here ladies lol

Sandy- I missed the post about you getting into your goal sundress! How exciting and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Well I weighted in today at 147. Like I say when I got to my parents house two weeks ago the scale said 155 but I am not sure I was that weight lol. So not sure how to count my pounds lost. Last night my parents took me to eat at one of my favorite places to eat. It was hard to not get a coney dog and chili cheese fries but I didn't. I got two eggs scrambled and hashbrowns BUT I only ate three fork fulls of the hashbrowns just enough to taste them. Surprisingly they tasted gross after so long of not eating them. But anyway I was proud of myself. Even though it was after 8pm when we got home I knew I had not had enough calories for the day so I had nice big fruit salad I also went to the store and tried on jeans yesterday since all of my new ones are getting a little big. 8 fit great a little baggy but comfy but I could get on all the way, zip and button a size.....................................................6!!!!! OMG I could not believe it! I would say about 5 more pounds and they would fit comfortable enough to wear. That is my goal size to be and I just can't believe it. This time last year I was in a 14/16. Amazing what some hard work can do I never thought I would be thin again!
Hope that you all have a TERRIFIC day and have Happy Fourth of July weekend! Stay strong I know it will be tough with all the parties

Amanda, thank you!! It was very exciting to wear my sundress! I hardly wear anything that isn't black or dark & to wear a summery yellow was alot of fun! I had tried to respond to your post the other day about your weight "gain" & my post got lost due to my internet connection & I didn't have time to retype it. Anyway, what I was saying was that I was sure it was water weight or because of traveling,etc. I'm glad that you hung in there & made good choices to get yourself where you need to be!! Congrats on all of your success!!
Katrina, welcome back! The important thing is that you ARE back! You can do it!
Emelie, sorry to hear about your wisdom teeth! I had all 4 taken at once too & my advice would be make sure you eat something while taking your pain meds. I got myself sooo sick by not having something on my stomach. It was all a bit complicated by not being able to eat, so just be careful! I hope it goes well for you!
Crystal, I hope that you're feeling better & I hope that things go well on the 6th.

I am here! I have been busy unpacking and cleaning up the house since we got back sunday night. They all of yesterday afternoon was spent at dr appts and food shopping. Last night my stomach started hurting and I have been achy all over. I did not really work out yesterday. I did my ab work out but I figured with not feeling good and coming in at just under 1200 calories work out was out of the question. I am still not feeling good today so we will see what the afternoon brings before I work out.
Crystal I am praying for you and your mom! I hope that all goes well!
Sandy- I am going to start this new toning work out. It is called the 12 second Sequence by Jorge Cruise. Someone told me about it and said it had amazing results so we shall see!

Hello!!!! GREAT news !! My Moms surgery went amazingly well !! No complications , aneurysms is clipped and she has absolutley no issues with it now. No bleeds breaks leaks or ruptures. She is having some problems with her memory, but they said that should get better with time. She is doing so well that she skipped going to the ICU and went right straight to the neuro step down unit. Basiclly a regular room. She is honeslty for having brain surgery doing amazing !!! Thank You for all your prayers they mean alot and have gone a long way..
NOW ...... i need to get back on that wagon because I am back up to 150.4 this am... although I will wait abit to weigh again since tom is being evil!!! :mad:0 -

Hi ladies, I hope you haven't forgotten me?????
I made it back from vacation...... I had to rush back early. My nextdoor neighbors daughter (she's the same age as my Lynsey and is best friends with her) was hit and killed by a truck while on her bike last week right after we left on vacation......We came home last night so we could be at the funeral this morning.....It's been a really hard day here in our neighborhood. It was a reminder to us all what a gift life is and how we never know when It'll be our turn to go......
First I'm sorry I missed weighin last friday...there was no internet where we were so I just left my lap top at home.........And I really fell off the wagon over the forth with lots of food and family. I stepped on the scale this moring and don't even want to confess what it said......I'm glad I still have 2 days to at least to work off a little of it.......
Crystal I'm so glad to hear your mom's surgery went so well..and she is recovering so quickly. I know something like that can be scary!

Well tomorrow is a new day and I've got to get back to my life and get serous again about moving....... I need to learn how to handle holidays and traveling???????

Sandy- It is a book. The work outs seem great until you get into week 5 (I think it is) then you need machines and there is no way I am buying them lol. I think I will use it for the other work outs though. Thank you for the well wishes. I am doing a bit better today but still not 100%. I did some sculpting and abs last night since again I did not eat much. Hopefully today I can get in some cardio if not then I will do something smaller maybe a nice walk with the family

Connie- Welcome Back!!! I am sooooo sorry to hear about your daughters friend. That is so sad I lost my best friend it will be 9 years this October in a car accident. It is a tough thing to go through and my thoughts and prayers are with u, ur daughter and that little girls family! Hey we all have an off time and like you said tomorrow is another day and I am sure your weight in on friday will be GREAT!!!

Well today is going to be clean the house day lol. I picked up everything from our vacation so now it is time to clean . Need to make my laundry soap today too. Tomorrow the cable man is coming over and we are getting our cable back!!! We have been with out tv for over a month now. With my husband out of work it was not something we could afford anymore. My kids are excited to finally sit down and watch some cartoons lol.
BTW- I will not be able to weight in this week. While I was gone my scale went out on me and I have to wait til next week to get a new one :grumble:

I started a new aeroboxing dvd and I hate it! It is boring but I have to say I am sore. I found a new Billy Blanks DVD at the library so Jeff is picking that and a 14 day ab routine up for me today. I have decided that M,W,F are going to be my cardio days and T, TH, Sat are weight training. We will see how that works for me. I am getting to comfortable weight and pant size so now time to tone up!
How are the rest of ya doing? Do we need to start a new July thread on here? I know Crystal is very busy with her mom can one of us start it or does it need to be her?

Bummer on you not being able to weigh in this week!! Maybe sneak out to your nearest Walmart in the morning & try out a scale then & there!! Wouldn't that be a hoot!! I took the girls out for a nice ride in the stroller & did some weeding in the garden. I burned 224 in little over an hour, however, I'd like to add to that today, but doing some additional workout with either the Wii or maybe some pilates.
As far as a new thread... I hadn't given it much thought. Maybe you're right! Do you want to start a new one for July?? LMK!!

I think this weekend I'm going to go by a card reader for my camera so I can get a pictures downloaded off my camera onto here.
AW.... Amanda thank for the idea..........I have a couple DVDs to workout to but don't really like them and don't use them very often........ I've never thought about checking out the library for some... I bet they have loads of them there....I think I'll check it out tomorrow..... and try something new.......
As for today.....it was a beautiful day. So I spent the whole day outside in my poorly neglected yard. mowing, and digging and working on my fence that I havn't mended yet.... I'm hoping I burned some serious colaries. Then after dinner I walked for an hr. and really pushed myself.........I know I'm gona be up this week, after the 4th but Hoping it won't be too bad????//:grumble: Only morning will tell...

I am not able to weight myself this week as my scale went out. I did measure myself and from last week my waist 33 this week......28!!!!! So even if I might not have lost lbs I am loosing some inches :happy: Also doing a lot more weights this week so maybe I am glad I can't weight in lol My picture on here is new from yesterday and there I could not believe the difference from the other pics I had on here!
