OK I SAID WEIGH INS WOULD BE WEDNESDAY, BUT SINCE WE ARE OFFICIALLY STARTING TODAY IM GONNA CHANGE IT TO THURSDAY!!

TIP OF THE DAY

1. Create a no-fail environment. Get rid of your "red light" foods. A "red light" food is one that gives you trouble controlling portions. After awhile you may be able to bring them back. Also get rid of the food that is not going to fit into your new lifestyle

    oh btw on the no sweets..I know some of you were having difficulty with this one and I want it to be fun..So instead of no sweets, how about you pick 1 sweet and you can only have that specific sweet for the day..Please choose healthy sweets, like fruit, yogurt, and such!...Good Luck and have fun with it!

    Breakfast will be...egg beaters with mushrooms, onions, fat free feta and better start Thomas 100 cal english muffin.

    Coffee with fat free half and half.

    Thomas 100% Whole Wheat (no high fructose corn syrup) English Muffin
    1/2 tablespoon Blue Bonnett Margarine
    1 tablespoon Smucker Sugar Free Strawberry Preserves
    1 Boiled Egg
    6oz. milk


    Total Cals: 310

    Guess I have had my sweet for the day..Sugar Free Preserves!

    Ok my one sweet for the day....hmmmm...it will either be yogurt or watermelon...we'll see what I "need" - I am going to try to go without - afterall it's only one day!

    My breakfast was Oatmeal with nutmeg, milk and a little but of molasses because I can't stomach oatmeal without it:sick: . That will have to be my sweet for the day.

    I do believe that's a sweet - I had to really think about breakfast today I too normally go with oatmeal. Once I started thinking about it I realized there's several things I have daily that are sweet - brown sugar or maple at breakfast, fruits, yogurts, sugar free kool aid...I like being aware of what I am eating and a challenge like this shines a light for me.

    It is strange. I'm not a sweets person (as in chocolate or candy) but I guess I do eat more than I thought I did....I just realized that I can't have my yogurt for a snack now.....hmmm. Cheese stick it is.:laugh:

    Ok, so first workout of the day done!! P90X shoulder and arms and Ab ripper X. Breakfast was 4 glasses of water and a banana and peanut butter, so my sweet is in for the day :( I will miss you my sweet fruits for the rest of the day. But we can do anything for 1 day, right???

    I think I can manage no sweets today simply because I don't have any in the house..*whew*! I need to go grocery shopping asap, I have very little to eat around here.
