Weight was never an issue for me, if they had a great personality, treated me well and made me laugh...height however is another story!! I'm a height-ist so sue me! Standing 5' 11" (and enjoy wearing 4" platforms every now and then) I prefer to look up at my man.

Neither of these things matter to me. Skinny guys, chubby guys, short guys, tall guys... they can all be sexy!

Doesn't matter to me. Neither height nor weight. I'm 6' tall and i've dated guys from 5'4 to 6'5. We're all the same height laying down! I'm married to a guy who is the exact same height as me. I've weighed more than a few guys i've dated too. it really doesn't matter.

I am 5' 10" and so is my husband. I wear flats all the time but I am fine with it. My ex- husband was 6'2"...I still wore flats.

I weigh more than my husband ....but he still loves me and thinks I'm sexy.....

It's not the size...it's the person.... as I always say...packaging doesn't matter, it's the gift inside

My husband is 5'8. I'm 5'3. Since I am on the short side already, I think I would probably not want the guy to be any less than 5'6-5'5 at the very shortest. I never had issues with guys being shorter than me growing up, but now I do think I would maybe have an issue having to look down to a man.

As far as weight goes, I was more than 50 lbs bigger than my hubs when we married but only maybe 25-30 lbs bigger when we met. Right now I am probably about 65 lbs bigger than him, but my goal is to get to the same size or smaller than him. It doesn't bother me that he's smaller than me, and it doesn't bother him that I'm bigger than him.... but if I were to just kept getting fatter and fatter, then he would start to have issues with my weight, and I wouldn't blame him. I don't want him to become some big fat guy, but I don't mind him having some love handles!

I WANT to look better for him privately and publicly. He's not a super thin (just an average size man about size 33' waist), so we don't too stange with each other as a couple as far as body size goes.

    1) I've dated men that weighed less than me, and I'm okay with it as long as he's not a twig I feel like I'm going to break.

    2) I am 6'. I just CANNOT date someone shorter than me. I can date at my height, I will let maybe an inch slide if you're a great guy, but otherwise...I just can't. And I love wearing heels. Hiiigggh heels.

    1. Ex-husband now current boyfriend (lol, we love each other) when we first got together I was probably 40 pounds heavier than him, now it's about 100 (yikes). Even when I get to my goal weight I'll still be like 25 pounds heavier. But he loves me either way, and the feeling is mutual.

    2. He's my height too (between 5'7" and 5'8"). Well wait, sometimes he's half an inch taller, some days I'm taller (depending on gravity that day ;) lol).

    1. Would you date/marry a guy who weighed less than you? What would be the biggest discrepancy in size you would go/allow?

I have. He probably weighed 20lbs less than me. He was tall and lanky.

    2. Would you date/marry a guy who was shorter than you? What would be the biggest discrepancy in height you would go/allow?

I have he was shorter than me by like 2inches.

My husband weighs about 30 pounds less than I do, but he is also a lot more physically fit.

I would probably date someone shorter than me if I really was into them. Although it would probably be a turn off at first ;)

1 Answer: Yes - I would. Currently, my boyfriend and I are only a mere 10 pounds away from one another (he is still heavier - but full of muscle...I need to step up my game). If a guy is smaller than me, thats ok. However, I am only 5'0 - so this doesnt happen frequently.

2 Answer: Oh - well read answer one. I dont think I have ever met anyone that is shorter than me - outside of children.

I do stand firmly on "its about how someone treats you."

I would not say never to either of these questions, but probably not to both of them....

I like tall guys...and only being 5'5" it doesnt take much to be taller than me. Weight...maybe? but again, I like a little beef on my man.

I definitely wouldn't let either be a huge deal breaker if I loved them, but neither would be my preference.

The slimmest guy I've dated was about 5'9" and 125/130 lbs. He looked way thinner than me (at 5'6" and 110ish), but didn't weigh less. We could share clothes though, which was fun.

I think all the guys I've had serious relationships with were between 5'9" and 6'1", and that just happens to be my aesthetic preference as well, but not a necessity.

We are a generally short family. My brother tips the ruler at a whopping 5'4" and he's 31 so I think there probably isn't a growth spurt in his future. His wife is taller than him by about an inch :) She wore flats at their wedding so she wouldn't dwarf him, I thought it was sweet. My husband is 6' and athletic. It used to bother me a little but mostly because I felt guilty for hating exercise. Now that I can keep up with him better we have both lost weight, him 20 and me 12. Height is a non-issue honestly but I do like a guy I can see as strong. A weight difference would bother me more but I know it would be me feeling guilty for not having enough respect for myself rather than me being angry at him for being able to pack away massive amounts of food with little to not ill-effects.

    1. Would you date/marry a guy who weighed less than you? What would be the biggest discrepancy in size you would go/allow?

any man lighter than me would probably be unhealthy (108), so no...

likewise, it is rare to find a man shorter than me (5'2"), so it has never happened in my lifetime, but I would not be OPPOSED if I met a great guy that was only 5'1" for example...

I guess I would date anyone 5'0" to 6'4", and 120-280, as long as they were height/weight proportionate, and not unhealthy.

That said, if you are a *kitten*, it doesn't matter how perfect you look, you aren't getting any of my time. Conversely, if you are the most awesome, sweetest, funniest guy I have ever met, all those numbers I just quoted may fly out the window....

    1. Weight does not matter to me
    2. Height isn't a huge issue but I am 5'7" and would only date within 2-3 inches of my height.

The men I married, I have been married twice, are both taller and heavier than me though.

I've dated guys who were both significantly shorter and significantly lighter than me...it wasn't really an issue, but at the time I wasn't so big, and they weren't so small that we looked cartoonish together. I'm currently married to a man who's significantly taller and significantly heavier than me, in all honesty, it presents more challenges.
