    3 miles of walking in a very tiny midwestern town in the middle of nowhere. This town is about 3 blocks by 5 blocks--literally. I got very frustrated because I kept ending up on dead ends. There is a hardware store, a small grocery store, a school, and the hotel I'm staying in. I think the only reason the hotel is here is because the town is right on Interstate 80. I'm here to visit my parents, who live in an equally small town about 20 miles from here--where there is no hotel.

    The best bakery I have ever had the pleasure to patronize is about 8 miles from here. I am not hoping for any weight loss on this trip but, rather, hoping I will at least not gain. :smile:

    3-11= 7.25 miles bike 2 miles walking (9.5 total)
    3-12= 9.0 miles
    3-13= 12.5 miles bike + 1 mile walking

    Thank you guys SO much!!! I will definitely raise my miles for next month :) I really thought 130 was way out of my league LOL, I just feel so great and am loving this challenge! I'm going to see how far I can go, so I can challenge myself next month. And I get up thinking about my miles! Love it!

    You guys are my inspiration!!! I see everyone elses miles and it helps me get off my rear and get going :) Thank you all so much!!!

    Yesterday was my rest day after running the half marathon. Today, I'm back and running again! Ran 5 miles!

    Meeaham - you are the iron woman! Approaching Carlton status!

    I did 5 miles in the park today. Keep up the good work everyone - tomorrow is halfway through the month.
