Publicly humiliating someone is mental.

Remember, you are succesfully losing weight, you are in control and able to do things that will only improve you both physically and mentally as a person.
For him however, there is no cure for being a c**t.0 -
Just like the bottom line in my profile says: Fat people are second class citizens. We disgust most people and they can't hide it.
I'll share my public humiliation story. It still pi**es me off just thinking about it.
I was in Safeway shopping. I use one of those riding carts because of my back injury. I was sitting at the end of an aisle checking my grocery list when two young guys were walking by. These guys were probably 18-20yo. One of them grabbed the other one's arm and stopped him right next to me and said "uh oh, I think I have to let a fart!". Then he bent over, put his butt in my face, pulled his *kitten* cheeks apart and farted in my face. Then they just kept walking and laughed like it was the funniest thing they ever saw.
I'm sure their parents are very proud of their nice clean-cut young sons.0 -
Last night, for the first time in MONTHS I got up the courage to dress up, go out to dinner in a nice restaurant and have a glass of wine at one of the popular casino bars. People were everywhere, there were huge events yesterday.
I was wearing nothing revealing, unfitting, or skintight. Have to say I at least looked nice.
The only thing making me stand out a little is I wore a pair of heels.. after 2 years.
Night was going fine, I felt great.
Walking by on the way to the bar a guy yelled "That's why fat girls should never come out."
I felt so disgusted I no longer wanted the drink and went home.
This happens even after I lose over 25lbs, could've easily discouraged me altogether.
What kind of people who even have thoughts like that, have the balls to actually make it heard?
Anyone else experienced this while doing nothing wrong?
What a horrible little tw*t.
Shame you didnt think of saying "thats why total pr*cks should never go out".
I sincerely hope that his penis shrivels up and drops off xx0 -
Only d***heads do that s**t!! I probably would've punched him. But that's just me. : )0

I don't think this is true.0 -
The man was obviously a complete jerk.
People like him are generally trying to make themselves feel better by putting someone else down, don't listen to him. Anyway, you can bet your bottom dollar he has a small *****!
Onwards and upwards, don't let him ruin your day.

People are cruel. Try not to take their jerkiness to heart.
My first week of returning to college I was walking down the hall and over heard one guy say to the other, "every semester there's one hallway where all the hot girls hang out". Then just as they passed me he clarified, "it's not this one."
Thanks guy, cause you're gods gift to women, yourself.0 -

How so?0 -
That's horrible! I would have said something along the lines of "Well I can lose the weight...you'll always be an @ss hole!"0

I get that this is motivation and support so everyone is all sorry that happened and they don't want to let it get you down, and while that is true and support is good, I'm going to say it's on him for being a jerk and saying something inappropriate but it's on you that you left and let it ruin your evening. I once had trouble getting the safety bar down over my chest at an amusement park on one of those suspended roller coasters; the two young boys in the same row as me took notice and didn't waste anytime with remarks and giggles which was only made worse when the attendant had to help me. I was there to have fun and and no way was I going to let someone's bad manners ruin it for me. I was thrilled when they bar latched but even if I had to have walked out of that ride I would have let their comments wash off because my self worth is not based solely off my looks. Find something about yourself to love enough that when people make rude comments you can ignore it and still enjoy yourself and if you can't do it on your own get a therapist and build some resiliency. there are always going to be rude jerks in the world, today it might be that you're too fat, but when the weights gone or heaven forbid you are never a perfect size 2 or what if someone doesn't like your hair or your too something else are you always going to leave?0

Once in a while when I'm out walking people (usually young men) yell nasty things as they drive by. I wear headphones most of the time, even if I don't turn the music on - at least I can pretend I don't hear them!
Don't let that guy get in your way. Life your life, do what's right for you. Some people are going to be buttheads no matter what.0 -
Guys are a-holes, I know this because I am a guy, ignore it..0

Classless, insensitive moron. Karma remembers.0

I didn't just pull that statement out of my *kitten*. Before my back injury, I was VERY active, in shape, attractive and got lots of attention and second looks. People smiled when they provided service and made small talk back with me. Now I'm fat and not so pretty anymore. I have real life experiences to base that statement on. More often than not, I am ignored when I wait in line, cut in on when I wait in line. When I use the electric grocery cart, people cut in front of me and stop, so I have to wait until they are done before I can go. Once in a while someone is actually polite to me (maybe one out of ten). At least I have a clear conscience; before I injured my back, I always offered to reach something for, or otherwise help, those less fortunate than myself. I could go on and on, but it would probably ruin my day to dwell on that stuff. Well, it's off to the grocery store. Thank goodness, I still have my cheery persona when I go out.0 -
What an *kitten*! Don't let him get you down! You strut your stuff like it's nobody's business.. BECAUSE it IS nobody's business!!0

I actually read your post and you did have a point to make. Could I suggest using some punctuation and paragraphing to make it easier to follow? I'm not trying to be a jerk - really - it's just that so many good posts get lost because people fund them hard to read.0 -
There are pigs everywhere. Don't let the comments of one buffoon deter you. I bet you are way healthier than he is.....
Strut your stuff!0 -
Disgusting. What an absolute d-bag. Don't let him get you down, since he's lower than a slug.0
-
I'm sorry this happened to you.
He's a total *kitten*. Honestly. Some people just can't handle themselves while drinking. I'm sorry he had diarrhea of the mouth within earshot of you
Then again, he was at the bar too, probably single and if his attitude is an indicator of his sparkling personality, I don't think his love life is going to improve anytime soon.0 -
People who do those things have more problems than anyone else. I have learned this lesson the hard way after my whole childhood was filled with kids who did the same thing. It hurts, no doubt about it. But the best way to deal with them is to ignore them and continue being the awesome person you are!0
-
oh honey......I am soooooo sorry. Is it just me or does there seem to be more idiots in the world today! Seriously what is wrong with people.0
-
OMG that is horrible, no one should ever make another peorson feel like that, it makes me sick to my stomache, sorry you had to go through that, I have low self esteem when it comes to my apperance, and just by hearing that from you makes me feel like that could have been me and my stomache is in knots for you, but you are beautiful and please don't let that discourage you, if it does anything let it give you more motivation to get to where you want to be.:flowerforyou:0
-
I just don't get it? Why do people have to put others down just to make themselves feel good? Is that it? I don't understand. You are beautiful and keeping telling yourself that. Don't let the *kitten* get you down. I say this to myself every day!!!!0
-
OMG! I cried reading this! I can just imagine how you felt, because I've been there! I'll add to what everyone here is saying - "Don't let it get you down!" You are beautiful! Screw him! Jerk! Hold your head up high, because you are a better person!0
-
somebody did that to me once.. well he said... ' the fat girls are out in force' meaning me and me 2 friends... i didnt think i just retorted ' i may be fat but i can get rid of that... you will always have a ****head personality you will never get rid of'
he just walked off! lol i felt proud as normally i would have skuttled away but thought no im not going to take this!
ignore ignorant people hunni... so not worth your time and energy! get out there and be proud of who you are

be happy knowing you can lose weight but he will always be stupid and ugly =]0 -
He sounds like an idiot. Don't let him get you down - just think of something to say back if it happens again. Maybe a reply of 'And that's why guys with small penises should stay away from alcohol.'
I find guys who make such comments publicly are generally are covering up for a poor sense of manhood and are easily shut up by comments that involve the size of their dong!0 -
He sounds like he thinks only size 0 girls are attractive. Shallow, sexist, waste-of-skin, d***head. I bet he wasn't much of a looker, either. You're way better than him and, for the record, I think you're gorgeous!0
-
Totally ignore him - it says much more about his own inadequacies than anything about you. Be brave and hold your head high! :flowerforyou:0
-
You can always lose weight and you're doing it, but he'll never gain a personality!! You are beautiful, so don't let that person capture another moment of your life. God bless!0
