I was netting 1400-1700 cals/day. Lost 11 lbs since dec.28 when I started eating better and exercising.

I look for before and after pictures every night to make it easier to picture the bigger (or smaller) picture. These are all VERY inspiring. Great job to all of you!

Its hard, I am on my journey as well, MFP is amazing! its like your own coach!!! I have lost 35 pounds so far, I do not have any before/after pics. altough I hope to have some definite changes soon- my clothes are fitting better, and the tight clothes are looser now!!... But in the past I have lost weight with liquid diets, dieting etc.. and ive gained it all back. I am trying a different approach- exercise(elliptical-various speeds-40-60 min/weights on other days) and watching EVERYTHING i put in my mouth. its hard I have difficulty with fast food, and emotional eating ( any emotion I feel I EAT). I stay within 1500-1900 calories a day. I have actually been working out for years, but I haven't lost weight until I started tracking my intake. Can you imagine how ridiculous it sounds to do 45 minutes on the elliptical and gain weight?? its insanity!
When I check out my food breakdown- I eat ALOT of carb's and sodium, but you know one thing at a time. Im watching my calories and fat. I have to do this for me- no one else, baby steps.
    GOOD LUCK!!!

    Great and Inspiring.

MFP goals say I should eat 1200 cals daily to lose a pound a day. Is that considered starvation? I do cardio 5 times a week (I try to keep heart rate greater than 140) and lift weight for 15 minutes. One day I 'll do arms, shoulders, back and the next day I'll do legs and abs.

I am still a work in progress, trying to rid myself of baby weight. I've lost 34 pounds by eating...and eating. My bmr is 1312 and I eat up to 1580, just depends. I ate at 1200 for a few weeks but it was too frustrating for me, but like I said, it just depends on the day. I always try to be at least 1312! :)

BTW I just wanted to add how proud I was to be in those new jeans. I was happy dancing all over the place because they were size 4's!!! Now I am in a size 2!!!
And that is the same shirt in both pics!
