    How do find out what your maintenance calories are?

    The only really accurate way to do it is to go to a bariatric office and get a workup done. Aside from that, there is a lot of room for error.

    Here on MFP is a group "Olivia's Method". You might want to check it out.
    I 've changed to this method 12 days ago and am surprised : it works for me:-)
    After a 4-week stall I've lost almost 4 pounds, am not hungry and have enough energy for my workouts.
    It just makes me eat enough and NOT below my BMR while allowing me to control the weekly deficit.

    I am sooooo excited that I found this!!!! I have finally lost 3 pounds this week by following this method!!! Thank goodness because the scale had not moved in 2 months of 1200 calories and exercise!!!

    Frist of all I am new and you will know this when I ask what bump means? Then I want to ask something I am want to know how to get my protein down seem like if I go over it is on this.

    When someone bumps a thread it is putting it back at the top of the forums, plus it marks it so they can go back to it later. I don't think there is anything bad about going over on protein. I am just the opposite and am usually trying to find ways to meet my goal on protein.
