93 Ford Thunderbird, 5.0. And it could fly. Got popped for 85 in a 55, truly thought I was going to jail. I miss having sports cars, but I certainly don't miss being a target.

My first car that my parents bought me was a 1984 Ford something....it was a piece! But, I thought I was cool. The first car I bought myself was a 2001 Mitzubitzi (sp?) Galant....that car was amazing....had for 8 months, crashed it in a horrible snow storm.

My first car was an old Chevy, Lumina.

It was as long as a boat, had no rear view mirror and would suddenly stop when I made left turns so I can to plan all my trips with right turns only!!!! Drove it for about 6 months before my parents realized I had finally learned to drive and I deserved a better car : )

Hater that "boat" at the time but it was a great experience and i have some very interesting stories to tell : )

'77 Buick Lesabre...4 doors, red with a V8 engine. It had over 100K miles and rusted through holes in the floorboards (convenient ashtray for the backseat) and a hole in the door where the lock once was (you just stuck your finger in and moved the bar over to 'unlock' it)...LOL!

Many good times were had in the big red boat though

    1982 Vauxhall Astra.

It was a stormer of a car.

    1 careful lady owner

1 Newly passed teenager who rolled it over at 65 MPH and then lovingly rebuilt it just to have the drive shaft go.

Scrapped it and watched my mate put it in the crusher.

It was chocolate brown in colour and earned the nickname turd lol.

Red 86 ford escort wagon. exhaust holes inside the car so i had to drive with the windows open and wipe the soot off the inside of the windows. holes in the floor let water in and freeze on the car floor in the winter. had a few times my school books froze to the floor overnight. 1 qt of oil per week.

Then a 73 dodge dart with duct taped heat hoses that didn't work. The engine would cut out whenever i went down a big hill. had to use carb cleaner to get it started sometimes. no heat. It was called "The Neil Mobile." Bought it for $150. Sold it for $200.

84 Nissan pickup. No a/c, no power steering, stick shift. By the time I got rid of it it had more rust in the floor than paint. I loved that truck and miss it. I put it through a lot.

A very ugly, blue, 4 door Ford. I don't even remember the name of it but it was so unreliable that I usually left it in the apartment parking lot and walked to work. lol

    86 Honda Accord.

My best friend in high school, though, had always wanted a Gremlin - she found it! Had 13 original miles on it. The guy she bought it from won it on the price is right in the 70's, but was disabled so he couldn't drive. It sat in his garage all that time. lol

My first car was my parent's old car. A 1987 Mercury Sable.
Drove it for about a year (maybe a little longer) before I busted the radiator due to being neglected.

What a car!! I put 45k miles on it in the first year of just driving around with all my friends.
We packed 10 people in it (including 2 in the trunk) to go out to CiCi's for dinner one night.
I was happy it was gone when it was because it smelled terribly of mildew. My friends and I would go "fountain hopping." We'd find a random decorative fountain, jump out of the car, splash around and jump back in and drive off. Not a good/sanitary thing to do in hind sight. LOL.

1985 Dodge Charger, burgundy. I hated it!! the front end was so long I had to sit on a phone book to see the end of it. I wrecked it my 5th or 6th time taking it out with my mom for driving practice. My first at-fault accident and I only had my learner's permit. After the wreck I hated it even more because the bumper and driver side fender my dad found to fix it with were mustard yellow. Drove it from fall of 1993 until spring 1997, then my almost sister-in-law got it. In fall of 1998 she was dating an auto mechanic who for whatever reason decided to flush the radiator. I guess no one told him on a car that old you don't flush the radiator because its the dirt and rust that's holding it together. The whole thing started falling apart after that.

In January 1997 I bought a 1996 Toyota Tercel with 7052 miles. I'm still driving her. She's at 199680 miles right now.

96 Ford Ranger! As a teenage girl this sucked, I just wanted the new little sports car like every other girl, but truth is my parents new what they were doing not buying me a new car, for the other parents of the the girls in my high school, I would hate to pay the insurance they all did after every single one of them totaled there cars!
