Love it with fruit, and plain. But my FAVORITE is as a base for a blueberry pie smoothie.
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 full graham cracker
1/4 -1/2 cup almond milk
blend it all together (yes the graham cracker too) and enjoy. It really is like drinking a blueberry cream pie.0 -
great idea0

1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 banana
3 egg whites
vanilla
cinnamon
put it in a blender, mix and pour onto a hot lightly sprayed pan or griddle
flip when there are bubbles
makes about 3 pancakes
I like mine with jam or fresh fruit!0 -

I like it with black pepper on it, by itself. Or with Mrs. Dash seasonings.
I've never eaten it with fruit.
The only other way I've eaten it was in lasagna.
Sorry I'm not much more help than that.0 -

I mix cottage cheese with tuna and chives. I eat it on wheat crackers, or just by itself. I don't measure but I think I use about half a cup of cottage, probably 3oz. tuna, and a hand full of chives.0

Well, I'm Italian and I prefer ricotta because of the smoother texture. I love eating ricotta right out of the container plain. But, cottage cheese makes a nice breakfast for me, mixed with a bit of artificial sweetener (or agave nectar) and cinnamon and spread on top of whole grain toast.0
