I started Week 2 of RI30 yesterday. I'm feeling muscles I obviously didn't work during my 30DS or Week 1 of RI30! Week 2 has some complex moves and I recommend that you WATCH it before trying it - otherwise you'll be trying to figure out how they are doing the moves and wasting precious workout time until you get it down! Maybe you all are more coordinated than I am - I just had difficulty with a few moves - I wasn't very graceful... LOL!!! Good luck everyone.

I'm not very graceful either lol

Rest day for me today! Then I'll be on to level 2. I'm already thinking about what I want to do next. I NEED to do 6 week, 6 pack, but I don't think it entertains me enough to keep doing it.

She rec. doing RI30 after 30ds and than killer buns and thighs and than six week 6 pack and I can tell why. 30DS and RI30 help you strengthen your core and burn the fat, and killer buns and thighs does as well and than when you get to six week 6 pack that's basically allllll core work. But until you shed the fat you wont see the abs. But congrats on finishing 30ds :)

Started wk 2 of Ripped in 30 today. Kicked my butt. I assume it will get easier every day. Completed 30 DS before this. Definitely lost inches can feel it in my clothes. My body feels leaner. I don't weigh so don't know how many pounds lost.
I love the fact that it is about 25 minutes daily.

    Enjoy.

I did week 1 and thought "wow, this is great. I love this video" and then went on to week 2 and I said "holy chit, what is this?!?!!" Went back to week 1 last night and I think I will do one more night of week 1 tonight. I will then attempt a very modified week 2. I'm so excited for week 4 I can hardly stand it

I have really noticed a change in my shoulders though, wow! I did use 5 & 8 lb weights though (I have pretty decent upper body strength, well it least I thought I did, until it came to lifting my big (______!______) off the floor!!!
  • Loving Ripped! This evening's workout will be day #5 of week 1. No losses yet but I'm seeing some differences. My tummy is flatter and my tush is more toned and rounder!

I thought I was crazy when I looked in the mirror and said the same thing! I thought it was to soon to see results but I also noticed my backside and tummy are looking much better. I am also on week 1 today is day 6 for me

Okay so I have to say...week 1 left me going okay, this is hard and I'm breaking a nice sweat and I feel a bit sore but I'm not really feeling like I'm going to get "ripped"!

Today was day 2 of week 2...I woke up this morning with my shoulders and abs on FIRE! I just finished day #2 and man do I hurt. Week 2 definitely picks up the pace...all the plank work is rough. My tummy is definitely flatter...I think I may see a drop on the scale (a very small one) by the end of the week!! Editing to say that my tush is also in agony! Think those side lunges (modified!!) are doing their thing!

Is anyone following the meal plan that came with it? I stole some of the ideas and am actually trying to stick to around 1400 as she suggests but that's about it.

I dont do her exact meal plan because I'm gluten/wheat/dairy sensitive lol. But yea this is my 2nd day on week 2 and my shoulders were killing me this morning, still are and it was tough today doing them damn planks but I made it though :)

This was Week 2, Day 2 for me as well. I had a hard time sleeping last night because my "obliques" were painful. At first I thought it was my back but it's not. I'm finding the plank work harder on my shoulders and wrists than I do on my abs. I think I'm doing them wrong. :ohwell: By the end of the Week 2 workout are you completely drenched in sweat? I am (guess that's a good sign).

Finished 30 DS on the 15th and started Ripped in 30 today. I lost a total of 12.25 inches on the Shred, so I hoping to do as good on Ripped. I watched what I ate the past 10 days, but started getting cranky. I guess I was "missing" my exercise fix.

I did RI30 Week 2 Day 1. It wasn't a very intense workout since I spent time figuring out what the heck I was supposed to be doing. I was looking at the screen like . My shoulders hurt too. I need to work on my form. I might be doing this one for longer than a week. It depends on how well I catch on. That plan work IS hard.

I got a sick sense of pleasure when the Shelley couldn't stay balanced for the one legged rows. I enjoy knowing at least they struggled too.

Tehehe...yeah I get a kick out of JM harassing the girls and them struggling! Makes me feel better for sure.

That's why I sat and watched week 2 before I actually did it....and I'm glad I did. I wasn't spot on my first day but I think I was better prepared for it!

Today was day #3 of week 2 for me...all the planks are still kicking my butt. But I feel like this week is far more challenging over all...plus I *feel* it. The cardio plank moves are working my upper body, my abs and my lower half...I feel the same about most of the cardio....I feel like pretty much every move she gives you while it may target one particular area, it really encompasses everything, which I'm down with. I can't wait to master the crow push ups-those are so badass!!

I did Ripped in 30 for 2 weeks. But I couldnt move on to the second week because I didnt feel like I could do all the moves on the first week perfect so I redid the first week the 2nd. I started out doing like 2 pushups and by the second week I could do them all! I got amazing results and I could KICK myself for not finishing it! The bottom two pictures are from the beginning of Ripped and the last picture is after the 2nd week. I swear my body changed SOOO fast with this program. You will not regret doing it! My biggest tip is to concentrate on your form and make sure you do each move the BEST you can and the right way! I couldnt even sit down on the toilet for the first 3 days...but you can get through it! Im starting the Body Revolution on Tuesday. Good luck hope this helps!

great results in such short time, why not continue?

Yes it is Jillian Micheals. Someone on an earlier post on this page or the page b4 this one said that she rec. you to do 30 Day Shred first, Ripped in 30, Killer Buns & Thighs & then 6 Week 6 Pack. I am not sure of it though. I will follow in that order though. I would have liked to do 30 Day & Ripped together though, but that may be too tought for me....lol

I did the 30DS in January and lost 5"...I just started doing the RI30 yesterday and everything is sore, but I expected it just like with the shred. I worked through the pain and I'm glad I did.

I found this workout to be more entertaining and a tad easier. The way she breaks it down makes it feel effortless. I'm afraid to look at level 2, so I'll leave it for my off day.

I HOPE my butt gets tight :-)

I'll be doing Day 4 of Week 2 today. I'm concerned about my form! The crow push ups I know I have work to do on ... I don't bend my arms into push up nearly enough. My thought, though, is that my shoulders and arms are getting ENOUGH from all the planks!
Does anyone else feel the planks in their shoulders, wrists and arms more than they do in their core? Worried that I've got it all wrong. Also, my belly feels "mushier" for some reason (makes no sense). With the 30DS, I feel like I was firmer. I won't quit because I've seen others results but I have made these observations (maybe it's my mind)!

so, are the majority of you RI30's doing it 5 or 6 days a week?

Today is my last day of level one. So far i found it not as hard as 30ds. I am sure that will change in level 2 though.

I did week 1 for 5 days, will do week 2 for 6 days, and week 3 hopefully 6 days (than i'm going away) so I wont be able to do week 4 until I come back I feel it in my shoulders too, but my tummy felt smaller and when I took pictures it really is smaller in just 2weeks.

The reason they say to do 30DS first is because it prepares you for RI30, there is NO way in hell you can just go do RI30 if your not at all fit. I find her funny in RI30 she had me laughing a few times. In 30DS I just yelled at her like she could hear me half the time. Fun times.

I started Ripped in 30 on March 19th and was doing really well. I had a 2.75 inch loss in the first week. Then my schedule got crazy and I couldn't find the time to fit it in. I never did any of the other DVD's. I have 30DS, so I think I'm going to restart (and get out of this candy coma since Easter) with 30DS and then move on to Ripped in 30. I just need to learn to leave work earlier and stop getting myself so drained! My life, health, and happiness is more important than only focussing on my career! Ok, I think I just needed to vent, thanks for listening/reading :)

I've finished 30DS and am on Workout 3 day 2 of RI30 I'm doing each week for 2 weeks. I hated workout 2..some of the moves were just awkward. So far I like workout 3. It's definitely harder. I think I may start 30DS over after i finish this unless hubby buys me p90x for my bday :)

I am midway through week 3 and it is SO hard at times.
