Your tummy is looking amazing. Thanks for the reminder that the scale is evil!0

Are you for real?? Good goobely GOO! How tall are you?
Haha, thanks! And I'm 5'60 -
Wow! I'm speechless. I had no idea the scale sucked so bad. You look awesome! Keep up the great work and thank you for these words of wisdom. I can't tell you how angry I get at the scale. : )0

Holy buckets! Great job! I would have never thought that you were about the same weight. You look great- did you have a butt and legs workout? Or was it all P90X?
Thank you! I did P90X and now I'm doing Insanity, but I also do zumba 2-3 times per week and my german shepherd walks me (no really, he walks me hahaha) for at least 10 miles per week on hills. The workouts are the easy part of weight loss for me - it's the food that I struggle with!
haha I know the feeling I used to have a lab/pitbull who would walk me too. Those hills must've been a beast! Oh man I hear you food is always the biggest struggle, but at least you've got the exercise part down:)0 -
Thank you so much for posting this!!! I have a friend who just today has been discouraged and is ready to give up because her stupid scale has not moved in 2 months. I am going to send her the link to this post so she can know that others (many others) also experience the same frustrations, but it doesn't mean progress is not being made.
Congratulations on sticking with it even though the scale was not giving you the encouragement you so obviously deserved! you are a ROCK STAR!!!!!!!!!!0 -
beautiful!!!! yes my first round of p90 I lost a total of 8lbs... and almost 12 inches... I never use the scale it says I'm obese anyways :P0

Awesome!
I think I'll take some pictures and do some measuring tonight. You've talked me into it.0 -
Amazing progress. I love to take pictures and measurements to rely on for when the scale doesn't budge because that number on the scale is never the whole truth to measuring progress!0
-
wow, you look great, thanks for sharing!!!0

Wow. I needed this. You look fantastic! Thanks for the inspiration!0

The responses to this post have helped me decide to cut waaaaay back on the scale...because I DO NOT need it! I am going to cut back to once a week, and then twice a month, and then maybe even just at the first of the month when I do my measuring and photo taking Who is with me??
With you, and always have been. I check the scale about quarterly, when at the doctor's office.0 -
awesome job!
And yes, the scale is an evil thing! I've plateued on weight loss for a few weeks, but my clothes keep getting bigger. Did a measurement and lost another inch since I last measured. Turning that body fat to muscle I tried explaining this to my workout partner, cause she's been freaking out that she hasn't lost any pounds, but I pointed out her shirts aren't as tight any more. And this is why in some cases, using BMI to determine "healthy weight" isn't right!0 -
You look amazing!! Have you measured your body fat %? Has it changed by much?
Thank you! And I haven't I swam in college and we used to get measured then pretty regularly - but I haven't since then (5 years ago) and it would obviously be WAAAY more now than it was before, haha (12% then). I need to get some calipers though so I can use that as a measure of progress too. Thank you for the reminder!0 -
You look amazing! Keep up the good work!0

Wow! The difference is amazing...you look awesome! Thank you so much for posting this. The scale hasn't moved much in weeks and weeks, but I can definitely feel changes...now I know I'm likely not crazy. Thank you!0
-
that is an amazing difference! I hate the scale too, I'm finishing up my last week of Insanity and only lost 7 pounds so far but tons of inches.
you are doing great! Keep up the great work!!!0
