    Hi!! newbie to the challenge. Please add me. I would like to accomplishe 30 miles. I should be able to do this when walking at work and running at home. Hopefully I will be able to do more than 30 this way.

    Hullo!
    I'd like to join in and set a challenge of 50 miles for myself. I'm only going to count the running miles. It's the second week of my 10K training program.

    I'm going to shoot for 60 this month.

    Hoping to get the wife back into the gym and get us back on track ... when she's in the gym, I usually pick up some extra workout days and that always helps with numbers ... not to mention weight loss.

    @ Jonny & Speedy, I looked at miles in April and found 80 of my 125 were running, so ... as much as I like walking (and I really like to walk), I also like doing a challenge with the two of you, so I'm going to join you in 85 running only. I hope I don't regret this. :laugh: Speedy, I'm joining you in the 200 sit ups challenge too, if I can figure out what a "good" sit up is.

    I am in again I joined last month when there was only 2 weeks left of the challenge and i was to aggresive with my goal. Needless to say I did not meet but this month I will meet my goal of 50 Miles :)

    I'm a walker with a pedometer. My goal is 10,000 steps a day, so 310,000 steps this month which is roughly 97 miles.

    Today was my first day with the pedometer, and I only had it for a few hours and managed just under 5000 steps.

    For those who wonder, how to get a ticker...

    You go to this site www.tickerfactory.com
    Choose: Exercise & Fitness Ticker
    Pick your ticker background and icon.
    Set password to your ticker (the pswrd is for you to update, so the ticker can move forward)
    You also set units (miles, km) and your target.

    Then you copy-paste the first code they have there & voila, you are all set up.

    I'm new to myfitnesspal, and want in on this challenge. I intend to walk 90 miles this month. Setting my goal high and excited about the results. I couldn't find a ticker for running. Can someone guide me to where I can find one? Thanks

    dino i'm in for another 80 this month...if i'm going to make my "walk" to maine challenge i have to do 80 a month and in april i was a bit short....soooooo i have to do my 80 and some extra for good measure...

    I'm in! 80 Miles in May. Yikes, this is a big commitment for someone who really enjoys weight lifting and has 10 days of vacation planned this month... can hiking count as some miles (I have tons of that planned on skyline drive/blue ridge parkway!)
