I'd love to be curvy...but I have never been smaller so I can't even imagine myself as chubby!0

curvy/chubby I guess, though leaner than that chubby pic. I would like to maintain my curvaceousness but get stronger and more toned so i guess my goal is athletic/curvy.0
-
i like normal!!0

Curvy/muscular. I am curvy and i love it. The 'normal' doesn't appeal to me, i like hips on a girl.0

curvy :happy:0

I don't aspire to any of these types because none of them represent what I can be at my best. Frankly, if I can get my stomach to flatten/firm up, I'll be thrilled. My arms and legs are stronger than they've ever been and I feel great.0

PLUS, a lot of these are talking about weight, not body type. Morbidly obese is not a body type. Neither is chubby. Neither is muscular. You have to alter your appearance to gain these body shapes, they are not a natural body type. The "normal" one is not "normal" - it may be a "normal" bf% and weight bit if you title it body types, you're talking pear, apple, hourglass etc.
And the woman labeled "normal" is a banana or whatever, which I'm pretty sure is the least common shape - pear shaped is most common.
And yeah, we can't decide which is our goal, as most of us do not have the same build as these women, and bf%/weight gain/loss will do nothing to change that.
A better title would have been "female weights and body fat %" and asked what people are aiming for in that respect.
I can't aim to be an hourglass shape anymore than I can aim to have black skin.
shamelessly quoting my own post, because I just feel the need to say it again :L
And I'll quote it again cuz you make a good point.0 -
Sort of a twist here... as a man, I think I would prefer 1. Athletic, 2. normal, 3. Curvy... Muscular... That is just a bit much but certainly not bad either...0
-
Yet another chart that implies being quite slender is "normal" and everything else fits into some sort of "other" category.0
-
curvy or athletic0
-
i would be happy to be what is called "fat" above0
-
Where is the photo of "healthy"? That's my goal.0
-
curvy!0

I don't think the "normal" is "NORMAL"! That looks anorexic. I think the normal is the chubby picture and that most of us strive to look like the "curvy" pic.0

Exactly , I agree with you. :flowerforyou:0 -
I like the fat, chubby curvy and athletic photos, I think I'd like to be curvy/athletic0

athletic + curvy0

Curvy/athletic...its a draw between both of those.0

Is this what this guy thinks of as being appropriate to post as fat? So if my ribs don't show I'm not normal? Thanks you wanker.0
-
I want thinner than normal. I am now at curvy.0

I think what the OP meant of "normal" is the one who has the normal body fat percentage that falls within the "fitness" category (21-24%). While 25%-31% are labeled as acceptable but that is already considered "overfat".0 -
I most definitely prefer #3!0
-
I was curvy before and I'll be curvy again!!0
-
I'm happily striving for chubby or now. If I reach that, curvy would be a great new goal.0
-
I'm sorry but the normal girl has the body of s swimsuit model. Now I don't know where you people live, but even in healthy conscious southern California I would rarely see anyone over the age of 16 that looks like that. And,now living in Chicago I am definitely not seeing Victoria's secret models rolling down the street.0

A mix of 3 and 9 nine and yowzer thats fine.0
-
Mix between curvy and athletic, I've got the butt for it but I'm just waiting for my boobs to really kick in, here's hoping I see some toning soon!0
-
I want to be a blend of 3 (curvy) and 8 (athletic)
Currently I don't see where I lie lol but 3 and 8 is definitely my ultimate goal!0
