My daily exercise goal is to hit 10K steps on my pedometer. Had a 37-day streak but broke it on Easter Sunday (I was travelling that day and didn't have time for my walk). Started a new streak on April 9th - today is Day 24 for me as well.

I hit my goal 29 out of 31 days in March and 29 out of 30 days in April. I'm going for a perfect 31 for 31 in May!

    Day 25 - ran 35 minutes and 100 squats

Icandoit - Clearly I misunderstood the massage post. I certainly understand now that it's WAY more relaxing to recieve than to give.

    Welcome to ines25 & Qatsi.

Qatsi, we're happy to have you post here, but there is also a monthy step challenge where I post my steps. I have the same goal of 10k steps daily. Last month I missed a few days, but my average was still over 10k. I take my pedometer off for other cardio, which I am posting here. Plus when I can do it, it's fun to chat with Icandoit - Hahaha!

    Day 26 - ran 40 minutes and 100 squats

5 hours running after a 2 year old.

Like this Myjourney. Especially on a farm where he has so much more room to run than we have here in our suburban back yards. I'll bet he loves it though. My grandma had a farm and it was always a special place to go. I notice you've got a c25k session on your exercise list. Some of my other MFPs have been doing this. It's not unusual to take longer to complete the program than expected. Just go at your own pace.

Icandoit, put on an HRM and come on over. Let's figure this out! Just joking. Seriously though, I've seen HRM's at Walmart. You could wear one on an appointment and find out. Also, if you wore one for aerobics once or twice, you could compare that reading with the MFP estimates, and determine how close or far apart they are. I wish I could deduct my dogs calories when I take her for a walk.

Oh, and you're so right. We are half way!! Good for us!

Day 27 - hour and a half pruning an enormus lilac that was half dead. I had to get my husband to help with the fat branches with the chain saw. I lopped off all the twigs and smaller branches and stuffed them into the trash bin. The folks who lived here before us had pruned it or trained (?) it into a small tree. It was cute, but it got bugs last summer. I sprayed it last fall. The bugs are gone, yay. And I got a workout - also good.

Stairs are an exocllent workout Myjourney.

So, Icandoit, do you go to lots of horse races? Do you have a race horse? Do you go to the track often, sometimes? Oh, and I loved that movie Secretariet. Did you see it? I want to hear about your party tomorrow.

I want to start my post with a big THANKS YOU for all the support. Everybody is such an inspiration. It is just great to concentrate on the activities we usually do each day and take credit for it. Then it just inspires us to do more. This has been just a great group and i am sure we will contiue i hope for the next 50 day interval.

As I start day 28 I feel just so great about myself for doing something every day and logging it.. It doesn't even matter what I weigh each day becasue i just know this "one day at a time" goal will have an effect on my body and for sure is very motivational and great for the brain.

So day 28 means we have been doing this for 4 weeks YAY for us.

day 28/50 weight training and Turbo jam cardio party 1

Clover we don't actually go to the races. we watch all the races in the next month on TV and enjoy the drink of the race, some good food and play cards. We do bet on it too at at local indoor race track....I won $12.60. woohoo ..so just for fun!

Thank you too. FOR ME, a daily commitment with accountability makes a huge difference. The chit-chat just adds a level of fun to the mix.
