I tried and it was wonderful but with almond milk0

Has anyone ever used Capella Flavor Drops? I love adding it to my oatmeal and it has 0 calories. Vanilla Custard and Chocolate Fudge Brownie are very good in Oatmeal, so is their Apple Pie. I love, love, love their concentrated flavorings!!0

Bump for later. Sounds good. Thanks0

I made it last night and had it this morning, I put raisins and cinnamon in mine.
YUMMY!!
However, next time I will add some sweetener to the yogurt. Just was not sweet enough for me, but otherwise, good stuff!!:happy:0 -
Is the oatmeal cooked before you stir everything togather and just reheated before you eat
No the oats are raw and you eat them cold.0 -
Dumb question do you eat this cold or warm it up?
Not dumb at all....you eat it cold.....0 -
I tried this today without Chia seeds as I could not find them to buy. This was sooooo delicious.0

Tried for the first time---regretting that I told my daughter I would share with her... really good!!! Like a big oatmeal cookie..0

I have tried chia seeds and they are so slimy. does the yogut/oatmeal tame this at all?0
-

Its also yummy with some powdered peanut butter, cocoa powder and half a banana!
Woah... never heard of powdered peanut butter. Sadly, I'm not supposed to be eating peanuts right now. Wonder if that comes in almond.0 -

For the hot/cold folks - I think you gotta eat this cold (as another poster mentioned - heating the yogurt may do bad things).
I can't see how the yogurt would do bad things if heated. I make muffins with yogurt and put plain yogurt in curry all the time and they still taste good.0 -
OK, so I see folks adding a lot of things to this, and this might be a dumb question but...why plain greek yogurt? Why not greek yogurt with fruit already in it? I love oatmeal so will definitely give this a try!0

This is how I make them:
40g steel cut oats
100g vanilla greek yogurt
5g chia seeds
35g vanilla body fortress isolate
100g frozen blueberries
1/2c water
441 calories, 45g protein, 10g fibre0 -
Ok so dumb question...do you not cook the oatmeal?
No, you don't cook the oatmeal by heating it.
It gets soft because it absorbs the moisture from the milk and yogurt.
Does the fact that you're eating the oats raw make them "healthier"?0 -

The greek yogurt with fruit already added generally has a lot of sugar in it. More controlled if you add your own fruit.0 -
