    Stairmaster - 255 floors (climbed the equivalent of Burj Khalifa in Dubai) in just under 32 minutes.

    Insanity!! plyometric cardio circuit- my heart felt like it was going to explode, burned 780 calories, or so the HRM said so

    Starting off good. Went for a 30 min jog early this morning and just finished up with my hour lunch power walk. I'm planning on trying to get in another 30 of some sort of exercise yet this evening...wish me luck! As my reward, I won a $25 gift card during my lunch walk....our univeristy had a table set-up along our walking path for National Employee Health & Fitness Day!!

    Ugggh....I spent 3 hours trimming the hedge around my back yard. Then I had to rake up the trimmings and wheelbarrow them to the curb. I almost wish I never planted those things..

    Great workout for the back, shoulders and arms though!!! I'm still feeling the burn....

    Today....hauling laundry up and down the stairs.
    Yesterday...moving and lifting boxes for my temporary job
    Monday...dancing and singing with K, 1st and 2nd grade music classes and leading the band up and down the stairs at graduation.
    Friday....4th grade field day!
    Nothing if not varied!!!

    Well about a month ago I started running outside in the mornings for about an hour, 4 days a week. Plus I walk a lot when I have classes since all the buildings are far apart. so far so good

    Unfortunately I only got in Cybex ArcTrainer Intervals in.:frown:

    I see that many are doing the Insanity ......I am planning on getting that next month but to tell you the truth, it scares the day lights outta me!!:embarassed: :laugh: I have a lot of physical issues that don't allow me to jump and such but I also am not afraid to try somethig different and am so ready for a change in workouts!

    This weekend was Relay for Life in Westminster, MD. Yesterday I walked 10 miles in 4 hrs and 23 mins (sprinted the last 1/4 of each lap for the first few miles), then I did a 30 min Zumba class. They had an instructor come at 6 am, so I had to make sure to get that 10th mile in before the class started! Total calories = 1,811. Today I took a 20 min walk with my son. Next year I think I'll do C25K so I can be prepared, because I'm not a walker or a runner. My hip sockets (?) are killin' me! People with cancer are in pain all the time, so I just kept telling myself that until I got that last lap in. Don't know how I made it thru Zumba. My legs were ok going in any direction by straight. :smile:

    Thanks! One of my guy friends on here said he'd work me up a lifting routine when I'm able to get bigger weights. :smile:

    The usual. Suspension trainer calisthenics workout on my lunch break followed by moderate intensity cardio in the evening (usually something involving my dog).
